A (not-so-new) and exciting discovery

Postby Seaside » January 26th, 2007, 1:57 pm

OK, I'm a bit dim, I admit it. I heard everyone raving about the chai and the capuccino, so I got some. When I prepared them my usual way (dump in cup, douse with boiling water, stir) I was APPALLED at the result. Undrinkable! Nasty!

Naturally, I thought "Hmm...all those people out there are having hallucinations. They just THINK that nasty stuff with the sludge on top is good!" It couldn't be me.

So then today I actually read the directions  and prepared some capuccino the way it says on the box. Oh, fraptious joy! I have a new favorite now.

LOL ...
 That is the funniest thing. I love the chi and I brought some to star bucks at Barns and Nobles the other morning, thinking I would just ask for some hot water and enjoy. Do not try this people Seaside is right. It was so yucky :hammerhead1: and I had to drink the lumps and all because I didn’t bring anything else with me!!! :brickwall:

We found these great little portable mixers. They come apart and fit into a little black carrying case. They're GREAT for the hot drinks away from home (or for the shakes when you don't want to actually do the shaking). Just don't use them with the pudding (total disaster) or the soup (purreed beef stew -- not so appetizing).

Check out prohealth dot com and do a search for "handmixer"

My breakfast is almost exclusively ccaappuucciinnoo, the last one of the day is either pudding or chai latte, and my second breakfast is a vanilla or banana shake in decaf (when there's time -- otherwise, it's an RTD).
Here's to our mutual success! :buddies: --Diana
