I made the commitment and placed my first online order today. I'm so glad I found this program and forum. I used Medifast before and had some success, but had to quit due to the cost. (Before Take Shape when I had to pay more for supplements AND pay for weekly doctor visits :shock: ).

Hi, all...well, I am ready to begin...I have been reading past newsletters and posts from all of you who have embraced life and health....I did something I have never done before...I actually DID measure my arms, legs, etc. Brother, if THAT doesn't keep me motivated I am not sure what will!! Day 1 was not good. After work, i had my 'meal' of salad and chicken, but was still so hungry , even after waiting for a while and drinking water. My question is can we eat jello? i didn't order any of the 'snacks', thinking that i would be ok with just the shakes but.....could a fatfree hotdog that had 60 calories be ok as a snack, or maybe deli sliced turket breast, if i ...

I just had my first shake and it is not great, although not horrible either. I am starting today and my goal is to lose 20 lbs. I have tried Atkins and many other ways to lose the weight but.... :( . A couple of years ago , I went from 150 to 120 but now am 135 and I am short too!!! I hope ...

Its good to be in a group where everyone share a common goal. I know you all will understand when I say how very afraid I am today. I have been on so many diets before and sadly have failed at all of them while adding extra pounds with each passing year.

It is 11:48am and I have had 2 shakes already. Can't wait for the 3rd.
