Yes, I'm Crazy

Hey, It's Kat. :D

I decided to give myself a new-ish username and new stats. Being stuck in the middle of my weight loss and seeing the old numbers wasn't helping me so I figured if I said I was starting again, I'd really mean it! My new start weight is 200 and I want to see the pound clubs come up on my new numbers ...

my before & after pic from 2004

ok gang, I had a before and after pic of me here back in the summer, but my site conked out and could not get the pic uploaded again. So for anyone who want to see what a transformation Medifast done for me, take a look from a person who was superb obese with BMI = 55.4 and getting ready to receive a wheelchair to now in the morbidly obese category, here's proof, you can ...

And Day 3 Begins

Good morning all.

I made it through day 2 without any deviation. I did drink a cup of chicken broth because I was light headed and that perked me up.

Strength training class was tough. I usually go 2 times a week and 1 arobic cross training class. We took 3 /12 weeks off for the holiday work shutdown, so yesterday was my first day back. I was using 12 and 15 lbs weights before ...

uh, oh!!!!

:tomato: Oh, NO!!!!! Is it true what I read on another thread around here that Guido is back in town!!! I better get my act together before HE comes hunting me down and putting me in some cement shoes 'cause I may be having thoughts and temptations of skimping on the Medifast plan and may even slack off ...

Is this right?

I just finished my third meal for today (my 1st day). It's a little strange feeling like I'm eating all day. I'm following the plan but it seems like hardly any time passes and it's "time" to eat again. I suppose it's right if we eat every 3-4 hours, I don't know why this seems weird to me. Between meals and water, we are pretty much constantly consuming something, right?

I'm thankful day 1 is ...

What's A Realistic First Goal?

My 48th birthday will be May 3. I am 5 feet 9 inches tall, and last Sunday weighed in at 269.5. I'm doing the 5 and 1 plan. What's a realistic goal for me to shoot for for my birthday? I want it to be one I can make easily, but not TOO easily, if you know what I mean. As much as I want to break 200 for the first time since in high ...

1st day

I have been reading the forum for almost 2 weeks now. Everyone here is so awesome! You all helped give me that extra "push" to order and go for it. There is so much motivation and inspiration here!

Today is my first day and so far so good. I have a LONG way to go. But knowing I can come in and read and laugh and cry and learn and be inspired all at the ...
