Week 1 is done...

Okay, I started June 1, so Wednesday is my official weigh in day. This first week I'm down 12.5 pounds. (Scale is hovering between 12 and 13 pounds lost... guess I should've ordered a digital while they're on sale huh! ;) )

PANCAKES! NUM...

I modified the cookie recipe to make a pancake out of the Maple/Brown Sugar Oatmeal this morning and it was an enjoyable way to have one of the meals. It creates a new texture and option... The orginal recipe for the cookies uses the Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal. I think the pancake would work with any of the oatmeal flavors. Here is what I did. Enjoy! :flip:

Chicken Chili

I got the chili down just right last night! It was so tasty! I took the ideas from here and used chili powder, garlic powder, little cumin, and a splash of sugar free tomato sauce since I don't like chunks of tomatos. Adding stewed tomatoes to Chili??

I added 1/4 cup stewed tomatoes and a tablespoon of mild chilis to the chili along with the site recommended spices and YUMMMMMMM....I hope this is okay, can someone tell me?

I was wondering what happends after we are on the M.F. program for a while and our bodies finally get used to the decrease in calories. Do our metabolisms slow down during the decrease in calories? Well, I did it...

Today was my first day. I had to race home and get on this support forum to avoid calling it quits. I am not one who eats anything typically before 1:00 or 2:00 in the afternoon so I had a hard time with the first 3 packets.
