Well, I'm the newest newbie at this point. I have purchased 2 weeks of Medifast. I was actually browsing this forum when the UPS guy knocked on the door. Then my 3 year old looked at me with a funny smile as I danced around with my box singing..."my food is here...my food is here". I sure hope the excitement stays!

THE MAGIC BULLET IS AWESOME!! :-P Anyone who doesn't have one should run out and get one right now! I love using ice in my shakes and eating it with a spoon, and using the whipping blade with just water to make it thick and frothy.
A MediFast must have in my oppinion!

OK, I learned something new today about my little portable hamilton beach blender :idea: .....you may have already know this.

If you put the ice and water in first, then blend, the ice is almost like a snow cone. After that add you flavoring and supplment. It is much fluffier and tastes like a flavored icee.

All this time I have been mixing ice, water, supplements and ...

I lost about 20 lbs on this diet, however, in the last couple of months I have changed jobs and moved.

My eating got totally out of control, I craved carbo's and sweets, it was awful. Does this diet always have this reaction? I want to try again but I am v. fearful since I gained my weight back.
I don't want to keep doing this.

Ok, so this may be a silly question - since the beauty of the RTD's is supposed to be that they are READY to drink....but, I'll ask anyway.

Has anyone tried using them in a Magic Bullet (or blender) with ice (or extra water) to make them ice cold and thick like a shake? And, if so, did it affect the taste - or how similar is it to the powdered shakes if you fix ...

Hi everyone. I started today and I did pretty good. I had a bit of problem with the oatmeal...Icky...I don't like oatmeal anyway but I thought I would try it since it came in my kit. I have decided that I really Love the Choc. shakes so I'm pretty much gonna stick with anything choc. and I am planning on ordering Chili and some crackers so I can have that for lunch. My Lean green ...

Does anyone have the Medifast scales? I just got mine today and I can't get the same reading on them more than once. They have been calibrated but when I step on them, I get one reading....then step on them again and get another reading. They are off by 1 to 3 lbs either direction!! :x

Any suggestions???

Sure do enjoy getting everyones tips and fav's! Here are mine...

:arrow: I mix the chocolate shake with cola and ice, and the vanilla with orange soda and ice (diet of course). They end up tasting like floats and are double filling with the carbonation.

I had an interesting evening last night. Around midnight my husband came & got me up & told me his stomach was hurting really bad. Let me just tell you all this- my husband is MR. MACHO (sp). He has to be almost dieing before he tells me anything. So I got up & the fun began.
