Does anybody know when Nancy and her crew will be back? We miss her like the dickens...

But we know that when she does get back, she will have some exciting things to share with us! In the meantime, she will be enjoying her well-deserved time away.

Bet she misses us a whole lot, too. And won't she be happy at all of our progress while she has been gone?

I don't remember where I was reading about the splenda brown sugar being a no-no. I did find that sweet and low makes one with less than one carb.

Ok, I am in love with the cream of tomato soup now. I got 2 packets to try and I am going to have to order more SOON! I prepared it on the stove and kicked it up with some Mrs Dash tomato, basil, and garlic as Nancy suggested. I also added a few dashes of ground red pepper. I tasted it and I was not terribly impressed, so I added a bit of salt.....still ...

I have finally gotten the chili down to a science!! I take 4oz water, the chili packet, 1/2tsp Better than Bouillon chili base,a dash of chili powder,a dash of dried onions, cook on low for 20-25min on the stove and it comes out perfect!!!

I just got to wonder. :?: We're all trying to trade it & I don't see anyone taking us up on it. I still have 6 packets to trade but I'm guessing they will end up in the garbage. I don't think anyone out there likes minestrone. If I'm wrong let me know.

I have to share a bit of news. Big deal for me, may sound silly to you... oh, well. My husband and I are both nurses. You may recall me telling you that he is 6'3" and slim. I, on the other hand, am 5'4" and not so slim. Anyway, I started wearing his scrub pants when I was pregnant and a friend gave me a bunch of XL scrub tops to wear. ...
