Good morning lovely ladies (and handsome gents!),

As some of you know, I didn't have a scale my first week and have no idea how much I lost. It really irks me not to know. Is there an average or some number I can use to estimate what I lost that first week? I can't tell anyone how much I lost without that first all important week!

What the heck is wrong with me? When I was 227, I thought I looked pretty darned good... now 30+ lbs lighter, I feel like I'm the biggest person in the room. I know logically that I'm smaller, that my clothes are too big, but I don't feel thinner. Is this ever going to go away? Am I always going to feel like the fat girl? I know I still have a ways to go...40 ...

Today is one week that I have been doing MF - and I am down 10lbs!!!
I am thrilled! I am going to try to stay off the scale for a little while, because I have learned from this board that sometimes week 2 levels off a bit.

An Answer To Prayer!

My tests and annual physical turned out great today. My cholesterol was down within normal range ( lower than in years!) My BP was lower than before, and all the blood work tests were well within normal range. In other words, I'm OKAY in every way!.

Doctor is so proud of my weight loss...she's tried for years to help me do it and I would go up one time and ...

I have a huge love for Sushi & Sashimi, and wonder how much RAW fish I can consume. I know I can have 7oz cooked, but is there any kind of guideline for raw? (I know I can't have a sushi roll, or any rice)

The same is true with beef - I love my steak, burgers, etc., medium rare or rare, but don't want to misjudge my portions.

Guidance would be appreciated!

I mentioned before that I just moved to Texas. This weekend, I'm going to my very first chili cookoff. They're doing this through work with lots of teams. Probably 20-30 teams participating. Our team is going to have bbq brisket, hamburgers and hot dogs and more for the cooking team. I told them that I'd be happy to help with anything but serving or cooking.
