Can you make Tropical Punch or Peach Tea ahead of time?

I am going to the beach on Wednesday and will be there a week.

I would like to make the tropical punch and the peach tea ahead of time in water bottles to take to the beach/pool/ride in the car.

Has anyone ever done this?

How do they taste ---- any tips?

A little background on myself...

Alright, so here I am. I wanted to share a little bit of what has happened and how I handled myself the first 4 weeks of being on Medifast. Some of this is not pretty...but I feel like being open if it can help someone or be encouraging.
I have been on many a diet in my 33 years of life. When I met my husband I had been working out a lot and got ...

Perils of Homebrewing

I'm a homebrewer. Not just any homebrew, either. I brew meads. For those of you who aren't familiar with meads, they're a honey wine. Think wine, but use honey instead of grapes. Because of the different chemistry, it takes a good 12-18 months to brew a batch of mead, and even then, they only get better with age. A good 10-year old homebrewed mead is fantastic! I've made blackberry, blueberry, pinapple, vanilla meads and even ...

Today's quote

This one holds some signifigance for me as the naysayers will be out in force at the birthday party I'm on my way to:

From the wall of the Redbud Cafe, somewhere in Colorado, I think:

"The person who says it cannot be done shouldn't interrupt the person who is doing it"

Anyone see Over the Hedge?

I took my daughter to the drive-in last night to see this and it hit home regarding food.

Even though it's from an animal's point of view, in the beginning they talked about how humans just keep eating and eating and how food has become so important in their lives.

I really hope that I will come out of this with an understanding that food is fuel and not a pleasure activity.

Sunday Morning Roll Call: May 28, 2006

Morning all you sleepyhead losers  I will start off this Memorial weekend roll call with a 3 lb. loss putting me in the 90 # club at last. I will be celebrating by planting flowers for most of the day, lol, but at least I am able to plant flowers for most of the day, right?

Have a great holiday weekend and keep on shakin'!
