Mock Wine

I love Cananda Dry Diet GInger Ale. On the weekend we went to the cabin with a large group of friends. Everybody's drinking beer & wine. I had my diet ginger ale in a wine glass and it looked like chardonnay!! I felt like I was living it up. Try it.

NSV... of sorts

none of my pants fit!

i'm grateful-- more than i can say.

i'm also constantly pulling up my pants and washing and drying them on hot to try to get a couple hours of wear out of them. gotta be careful standing up, cause sometimes the jeans... don't.

i want to wait a little while before buyng new jeans; i'm hoping i can skip a size and spend less money (starving- ha ha- student here). ...

Realistic goals?

I havent set any real goals yet. Just my ending weight and I did that based on what it will take to get my BMI down in the normal range. I might readjust that in the future.

Anyway...I was trying to set up some mini like goals to help get me thru. I know DH will be willing to give me rewards if I reach them.

Do you think these are realistic?

Midway Goal

OK...I decided to set myself a midway goal...well...it's a bit more than midway...so here it is...I'm going to try to get down to 160 by the beginning of November. That averages out to around 2.5 pounds a week until then. My brother is coming home from Iraq and I think it would be great for him to see me at my smallest weight. 160 is where I got down to the last time I dieted ...

Verbal NSV

I'm at 3 1/2 weeks and I've lost 13 lbs. I didn't think I could see a lot of difference yet, BUT 3 people this week have asked me if I'm shriinking!! Since I've got a total of 70 lbs to lose, I was surprised they could detect any change. I guess it shows more than I realize. :) Anyway, it feels good! I can't wait til this TOM is gone and I drop the ...

plateau

Hi, I started MF on 4/18 and have lost 30lbs. For the past 2 1/2 weeks I have lost nothing. I have tried everything to get past it, more water, no exercise, more exercise, no bars, bars everyother day, full fast, all shakes etc. I am having no luck. Is there anything else I can do to get past this and typically how long do plateaus last? I am getting very discouraged. Thanks!

Another Newb :)

I've been lurking around the boards for a while and thought I should finally post something. I started Medifast on June 3rd, so I'm just shy of the 3 week mark. (Down 15 lbs woot!)

For a little background, I'm 26 and started out at 254 lbs at only 5'5" and decided it was time to do something. I was diagnosed with Crohn's about 2 years ago, so I was pretty adjusted to cutting out ...
