I have a confession

I've either missed my last supplement for the past three days, or I spaced on recording it Sunday and Monday. I know for sure I missed it on Tuesday though. I fell asleep at 8pm within an hour after eating my L&G (and four of those little cups of SF jello ). I don't know what's up with that. I'm usually very good at getting all of ...

I am having a TERRIBLE day

Today was Jake's first day of kindergarten. Not really a bad thing. He has been going to daycare since he was 8 weeks old. And, only while he was being treated for his cancer was he with me all the time. He has been with me this summer, too. Well, I didn't think he would have any separation issues from us, but maybe Max. They are only 12 months apart in age, and they have ...

Help...

I've fallen off plan already :(
I am trying to figure out what happened to take me from being totally focused to feeling out of control. I know...it started with eating a bar....then eating another one and another. I had all of my meals eaten by 2 pm. This was yesterday. I ate some meat and figured I just needed a little break. I was planning to ...

MediChocoCheesecake!

Hiya all, :chef:

I was inspired by Supermom's lemon tart recipe! I took her crust recipe & used it in a "mock chocolate cheesecake"... Just made this for my dinner - YUM!

This uses 2 meal replacements! Be sure to eat only 1/2 for your serving :)

It's been about 20 minutes since I ate my 1/2 w/ a ...

What's in a number?

I've made a decision. Since I'm already in my original goal size of 6, and pretty close to a 4 (which is still unbelievable to me), I'm adjusting my goal and my ticker and declaring myself "done," at least as far as weight loss is concerned. I'd still like to get into those 4s comfortably, but I think I can do that by building muscle and burning fat. I'm pretty sure that with the added ...

Ready or not, here I go ...

I posted this in my journal, but I thought it probably belongs here, too.

OK, got my BFL books today. It looks pretty reasonable, and pretty close to what I was going to do anyway. Six meals a day (although I may stick with my seven), 40 percent protein, 40 percent carbs, 20 percent fat. With a list of acceptable foods (basically leaner proteins, lower-GI carbs, healthy fats). With one day a week to eat ...

Munchy-Crunchy Oriental Stir-Fry

I saw on here that someone suggested adding soy sauce & a tad of Splenda for a "sweet-n-sour" feel to cabbage or stir fried veggies, so I kinda went with it. Made enough for my whole family & they ate it up!

(NOTE: This is a huge recipe - if you don't have a big family like me, you could prepare all the veggies, toss them together (not cook them) & measure out your servings ...
