trouble in paradise

I'm having a lot of trouble right now. I don't know what to do about it. I've been so successful on Medifast. I know I will continue to be successful, but what used to be a lot easier to keep a handle on is now very difficult.

I know there could be many reasons. Work is insanely busy and stressful. A lot of emotionally trying things have been happening in my private life. I'm still ...

L&G Question

I know as long as we stick to what is written in the Quick Start guide, then we're fine, but I am curious about something. Since meat has no carbs and allowable substitutes like low fat cottage cheese, Boca burgers, etc. have carbs in them, do those extra carbs combined with the carbs in our veggies effect ketosis in any way? I was looking at low fat cottage cheese and that has like 4 carbs ...

Rock Climbing anyone?

I'm thinking once I get to my halfway goal, I'd start rock climbing - but I'm probably still going to be overweight. I heard somewhere that rock climbing (I'm talking indoor on fake walls, not the actual extreme stuff) is really good exercise for overweight folks - does anyone have any information on that? Google is not being helpful. Thanks in advance! :)

introduction...

hi all,

i started medifast 3 weeks ago and just recently found this forum. lots of great advice and support.

wish i'd known about medifast earlier...i'm getting married 3 weeks from saturday and it would have made a great difference, but i probably would have had a mountain of excess fabric from my wedding dress!

it's been a bit of a rollercoaster thus far with medifast--i had an unexpected trip and a few hiccups so ...

walden farms marshmallow dip????

I bought it and tried it. I was wondering if anyone else had. Mine tastes like sour cream and sugar, like the dip for fruit that my mom makes. It tastes ok, but I am wondering if thats what it is supposed to taste like???

First Week Results!

I am down 5 lbs in one week and I can already feel and see the difference. The first few days I felt terrible but I have really felt great the last few. It's easy now, looking forward to continuing and reaching my goal.

Congratulations and compliments...YUCK

As I mentioned in another thread, I recently received a promotion from my company. Because of this, I am having a large number of people stop by to congratulate me. This bothers me enough, but most of them are also commenting on my weight loss as well.

I'm having to accept congratulations and compliments in the same day. I think this is one of the rings of hell.

KMR

I figured I would start a journal too, since I haven't got around to starting one yet.... I just turned 36 yrs. "young". I have been married to my gorgeous, extremely intelligent, caring and successful husband for almost 12 yrs. I have been an R.N. for 12 years, my specialty being open heart surgery. I have also worked in respitory critical care and neuro science. I am the PROUD mother of 7 yrs. old twin ...
