I think I screwed up today

...I'm not sure though. I took 8oz of scallops and boiled them and they ended up being not even 4oz, so they shrunk more than half. anyway, since I didn't know what to eat to have my 7oz of lean I decided to eat Boca Soy burgers and heated one up. After weighing it, it still didn't come up to be 7oz so I made another one. I'm sure this was way too much lean ...

How to start

I was exercising 5 times a week until I stopped about six weeks ago. I would do eliptical or treadmill for an hour and then maybe a little bit of strength training every other day. My question now is since I stopped and haven't done anything in almost two months I would like to know how to start again. I've only been on the program six days. Do I start walking lightly and if so, ...

Cheese and leans and greens

I've read several posts where people are using cheese for their lean & green meal. How much can we use? Can we use it every day? What kind of cheese?

Also, is there a link to somewhere where it shows you exactly what kind of leans and greens you can have. I know the quick start has some listed already but a lot of other veggies are not on it. The medifast website has a ...

Fat vs. Muscle

This picture is a replica of 5lbs of Fat (the yellow mass) and 5lbs of Muscle (the red mass). Since fat takes up a lot more space than muscle, you can see how you could gain 5lbs of muscle and lose 5lbs of fat and actually be smaller even though the scale says you weigh the same.

dinner and shake

Is it ok to have your dinner and shake at the same time or within like 30 minutes of each other. Is that too much? Thanks.

Going Straight and some newbie questions

Hi folks,

Like a lot of the posters here, I'm coming back - I haven't really gone off plan, but I've had a few weeks where I kept cheating on my diet.

Well, I'm back on course, and armed with a new tool (diet and exercise tracker) that'll hopefully help me stay on course. I just have a few questions:

I think the daily amount of calories and carbs we can have is 900-1000 calories ...
