I was sitting here reading all the posts and thought I'd join in. I, like some of you am waiting on my shipment. I have already started my fast on a store bought brand which doesn't have the benefit of Ketosis. I'm looking forward to that blessing and have experienced that before. I have about 50 or so lbs to lose and I'm staying positive that I will be able to reach goal this time ...

I don't have anything exciting to say other than I have made it through most of day 1 successfully. Man, I'll have to carry water bottles with me wherever I go to get all the water drinking in! I had a headache, but no biggie.

Just out of curiosity, what have most of you experienced in weight loss for the 1st 4 months? I know results vary...

Just want to succeed, and it seems like you are all telling me how awful the first few days are..I get my shipment end of the week, and do NOT want to get discouraged the first few days...what about an appetite suppresant, and what would work...

Another question......

I take meds for chronic migraines and allergies. I have just been prescribed two that require they be taken with food. One is Naprocin (Naproxen) which is notoriously bad for the stomach.

Do shakes count?

And no...I can't ask my doctor because I am under military medical care and it takes weeks to get an appointment :o( I DID consult her before beginning but forgot ...

Help! I made the chicken noodle soup today and I could not get the chicken bits to soften up! I used hot, but not boiling water and let it sit for about three minutes. Any ideas?

Heard about Medifast last year on a news program in San Diego where the morning anchor lost 20 some-odd pounds and kept track on air.

I bought the shakes and soups and jar etc while my husband was deployed to Kuwait, hoping to be back to a healthy weight by the time he came home. Instead, I dabbled with the shakes and failed at losing. I didn't think much of it, except that ...

I have a ton of cream soup and orange shakes that I just can't stand! Is there anybody out there who would want to either buy them, or trade for something else?

The orange tastes like children's tylenol to me! The rest is great, but I just hate wasting it by not using it.

Unca Tim.....this is not exactly a technical question but can you tell me, concerning the time zones, what does GMT stand for. I know there is ET, eastern time zone, CT, central time zone, MT, mountain time zone, and PT, pacific time zone. I have noticed that when I enter a post, the time is always 2 hours behind mine, so I suppose that is Pacific time, but what do the initials GMT stand for. ...
