Time to Buckle Down

Good Morning,

Time to get serious

I have just started back on Medifast as of Sunday. I started this last year, but with my wife having a baby (I gained just as much if not more than she did  ) and moving it has been a bit stressful. I know this plan works. I had lost 60lbs before I fell off the wagon, and of course now there is even more to ...

I cheated over the weekend. Will I gain weight?

Over this weekend I had a piece of fried chicken without the breading or skin for my lean protein for the day but then that evening I has a slice of cheese pizza. I haven't gone off the program since I started 6 weeks ago and have lost a total of 22 lbs. at a very steady pace. I actually lost 2lbs this weekend inspite of my little lack of will power. Then she ask again "don't you want some nice smokey cheese to go with this"? So I laughed and said "No thanks, sounds good, but I just don't need the extra calories". Her reply was "You sure don't look like you need ...

Snaps of our Seattle Adventures

:wavie: Hullo ~

I thought I’d share a little about our trip to the Seattle area the week of August 13th.

Our :drive: car doesn’t have a normal sized trunk; we refer to it as the “rear glove compartment.” We packed the Solstice with our laptops, video projector and a few changes of clothing and headed north for ...

Family History

I have been reading a lot about family history and being obese. I guess research groups have isolated a gene that pre-disposes us to being overweight. :x My curious mind was wondering, how many of us were raised in an overweight / obese household. :?: I know I was. The eating habbits I learned as a child have followed ...
