Vanilla Cream

In blender, add 1 packet vanilla shake, 3/4 of a can or bottle of diet cream soda, and some cinnamon. Blend.

Serve with a dash of nutmeg on top, if you like.

It's like having dessert for dinner - yum! I like to have this as my last shake of the night.

Revved up Chili

If you haven't already had any crackers for the day, here is a great way to rev up the chili recipe.

Add a little extra water then the box requires, and add your crackers prior to cooking the chili.

Also add:

Curry powder
Garlic Salt
Crushed Red Pepper
(all to taste)

The chili comes out nice and spicy, and the soft crackers cooked into it really add some bulk on those days where you just ...

Yummy Cherry Orange Shake

Yummy! I just splashed a little merichino cherry juice in to an Orange-Pineapple shake and OH MY GOODNESS it was good!!! Checked the label - a cherry is ten calories, so a splash of juice must be less. All other nutritional info was so scant that it was zero's all the way. I think the many flavor variations that are possible will make this an easier plan to stay on.

chili

Having tried the chili, I have a few questions. The microwave directions say nothing about covering the bowl, which is what I am used to doing when microwaving. So I covered & vented it, followed the directions, and the final result was very hot and somewhat dry! Does anyone find that the stovetop method tastes or comes out better? Should I have left it uncovered? Overall, I found the chili to be edible & a ...
