Cream of Tomato soup

Ok, I am in love with the cream of tomato soup now. I got 2 packets to try and I am going to have to order more SOON! I prepared it on the stove and kicked it up with some Mrs Dash tomato, basil, and garlic as Nancy suggested. I also added a few dashes of ground red pepper. I tasted it and I was not terribly impressed, so I added a bit of salt.....still ...

Walden Farms in packets!

Has anyone else found these in the store? I've been waiting for the new Medifast dressings that are coming already prepared in little packets, but now I found these. Perfect for taking along to restaurants.

And great timing, since I'm going to lunch tomorrow with a friend and the one thing the restaurant has that I can eat safely is a good salad bar; I was wondering what sort of acceptable dressings they'd have, if ...

Got rid of the LUMPIES....

hey all! If this idea is a repeat, I apologize. Since so many of us are new, I thought some of you could benefit from this....

To get rid of the lumps in the hot drinks....first put the drink mixed with COLD water in the blender (I use the Hamilton Beach personal blender) and blend for a few seconds....then zap it for 1-2 minutes in the microwave IN A LARGE coffee mug...they all get a ...

2 questions about spinach and cheese

First, the spinach: I sometimes like to use spinach leaves for my salad greens, and in that case I measure out two cups. The other night I tried making a scramble by cooking up 2 eggs with my "salad" (2 cups spinach leaves, half cup of diced tomatoes and green pepper, very yummy). That got me to thinking. 2 cups of spinach cooks WAY down, and at that point is essentially a steamed vegetable, but ...

The chili was horrible even with added spices. I followed the directions, stirred and stirred and stirred and there still was there hard crunchy pieces in it. I couldn't even finish the whole ...

Nanner puddin' fixer upper??

Ok, I read all the rave reviews about the bananner puddin so I ordered some. I don't care too much for the taste. It tastes too artificial and it has a strange metallic after taste or something. I made it plain the first time, added Splenda the second time, and Splenda plus banana extract the third time. Nothing helps. Does anyone have any ...

Oatmeal "haters"

Ok, now I love oatmeal, and the MF oatmeal took some getting used to it. Now I have it every morning. Today I decided to bring one to have for lunch, but I didnt put the two packets of splenda in that I usually do. I couldn't take it.

Point is, try adding some splenda to the oatmeal, if you are like me and like sweets, it just makes it 100% better.

A Not-so-good combo...

OK, it's my turn to tell about an accidental and absent minded MF mix-up.

It was time for my chicken noodle soup (my fav soup). I put the bullion powder in my bowl, then opened the pack and emptied it into the bowl. That's when I noticed it...some how, a banana blitz shake made it into my chicken noodle soup box and now was mixed in with my bullion!!! LOL No, I was NOT brave ...
