No Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

I can't take credit or blame for this, but...

In the Granola thread, people started talking about the raw cookie dough being the best part of cookies. There was talk of a freezer cookie, and I just had to experiment.

I just mixed 1 maple oatmeal and 1 chocolate shake together with a little water to make a very sticky dough. Sorry I don't have the actual amount. I just added a splash at a ...

Anyone tried making "ice cream"?

Has anyone tried turning the shakes or pudding into ice cream with a real ice cream maker? I made pudding pops--they were good but just not as creamy as I wanted. I just wondered if anyone had tried this with an appliance from the "pre-MF" days. Maybe I could try the method where you partially freeze the stuff, scoop it up and blend it, then refreeze. The cooks out there might know what I mean---sorry ...

Medifast brownies

I tried making the brownie recipe this morning, and OMG, they are horrible.... <img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_2_5.gif' border=0>

I cooked them longer than the recipe called for, and they appeared to be done, but after they cooled and I cut them up... uggggg, they were still raw and not good at all...

i know I must have done something wrong, but just wanted to suggest to anyone thinking of trying these out... It is alot of ...

Walden Farms dressing

Hi everyone,

I am a late bloomer and just got around to trying Walden Farms Creamy Bacon dressing on my salad with cooked diced chicken as my L&G tonight. All I can say is that it is wonderful!!! Adds variety to the only two dressings that MF offers.

As far as the nutritional count, Walden Farms has less calories, less fat, less sodium, no carbs at ...

Make your S'mores granola yummier!

Ok...so the majority of us agree these are not our favorites. They smell like play-doh. Thank god they don't taste like it. At least to me they don't.

I can tolerate them but I wanted them to taste better...today I slathered on some Walden Farms marshmallow dip and chocolate dip. MUUUUUUUUUUUCH better! It felt like I was having a SUPER fattening dessert! Image

"Sorta" Meatloaf

Hi everyone.

I just wanted to post something I tried that was pretty good. It may already be posted, I apologize if so.

I took my 5 oz lean beef patty and cooked it as usual. (I add Mrs. Dash, garlic pwd, pepper, cayenne, etc. I use no salt on it) I fry it in water and just keep watching it so it doesn't go dry.

Then I mixed 2 tsp ketchup with approx. 1tsp ...

Question about food

Okay ya'll...keep in mind that I am from RURAL Texas. We hunt and fish A LOT. So, my question is this: What about wild game? Elk, Venison, quail, pheasant, dove? Anyone know if these are okay?? We have a lot of pheasant and quail in the freezer and I so love it. I don't eat that much Elk or Venison, but we do cook it on occasion. I just really have a taste for some ...

Joy's Yummy Cracker recipe

Turn on your broiler so your crackers don't get soggy while waiting for it to heat up.

Put one package of crackers side-by-side on some foil.
Spray them very well with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray.
Sprinkle them lightly with garlic salt (and I mean LIGHTLY) :) (or you may use a light sprinkle of salt, if you prefer)
Now sprinkle liberally with Molly McButter ...

Joy's Best Homestyle Medifast Chili

Here's a recipe I developed in January 2003 the last time I was successfully on Medifast. Just one more variation of the many good recipes out there:

Joy's Best Homestyle Medifast Chili

Pour chili packet into bowl and add 1/2 cup cold water.
Add 1 T.(tablespoon)LaVictoria Red Taco Sauce--(I use medium instead
of mild to give it a little kick.) Stir.
Microwave on high 2 1/2 minutes. Stir again.
Let stand 1 1/2 to 2 ...

Cookies and Muffins--has anyone tried this......

I have made the cookies and muffins and the texture to me is bizarre. Just wondered if anyone has tried adding cream of tarter to the batter before baking? Cream of tarter is suggested as a levening substitute for eggs...you find it listed in the back of cookbooks as a substitute for when you run out of eggs. I hate to waste a supplement trying this if someone else has already tried it.
