Please be aware of non compliant suggestions...

Hey, folks-

Totally don't want to stir the MF pot at all, but can we all just be careful about what recipes we're posting here?

QuirkyIQ, I am thrilled to see you've had such success here, and I'm happy you've come over to our forum, but I am concerned about the recipes you've been posting here and calling MF compliant. Many of the items in these recipes are not following the MF plan in its ...

YOGURT CHEESE (Approved by MF nutritionist)

Use this as a substitute for sour cream and/or cream cheese. It’s easy to make and tastes fabulous!

3 cups plain, non-fat yogurt
herbs, spices, garlic, etc. (optional)

Spoon the yogurt into a coffee filter (or cheesecloth-lined strainer) and place over a bowl. Refrigerate, covered, for at least 5 hours (soft consistency, like sour cream), or 2 days (firm consistency, like cream cheese). Enjoy with MF crackers or veggies. Experiment with herbs and spices for ...

Oatmeal pancakes...old, but good

I know it's been posted, but I thought I would revisit it just in case someone missed it.

I made them so easily again today and they were so good I had to share. I might just have these once in a while instead of my L & G as a meal. Definite good breakfast, though.

All I did was mix 2 packets of oatmeal (so I could have some later on, too) with a ...

CROCK POT CURRY CAULIFLOWER SOUP

Use a potato masher to mash the cauliflower before serving. It's like eating a spicy tomato soup with rice. Or allow the soup to cool, puree in a food processor, reheat and serve as a "creamy" soup.

4 servings

1 lb. cauliflower florets
1-3/4 lbs. (28 oz) undrained canned tomatoes, diced or crushed
2 cups prepared vegetable or beef bouillon
1 chopped onion
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. curry powder
1/8 tsp. ground cumin ...

I had my L&G for afternoon meal 'cause somewhere today I am off by an hour and Dh had to have an earlier dinner 'cause he has practice at 6pm. Anyway I tried the recipe here for tuna patties. I think Sidrah posted it. It was pretty good considering I dont like hot tuna. Dh and I (our daughter too) liked them.

BLUEBERRY TEA IS HEAVEN!

I know it's summer, but I still love to have tea in the evening (Decaff only!!). I tried this new blueberry tea I found at the grocery store. It's not a medifast meal. Anway, you wouldn't think it would be this tasty, but it was SO delicious (especially with a few packets of splenda/equal). It was like candy and it was so satisfying!

I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this!!
