Shirataki Noodles

I've been reading a lot on using these as part of the "green" portion of your lean and green. Tried them, and they're not bad. Similar to the soba noodles used in a lot of Asian dishes. Definitely not like Italian pasta, but they'll do as a legal replacement.

I actually found them at my local Safeway. They are in the "cold box" section in the fresh produce department where the prepackaged salads are kept. ...

PF Chang's?

I am having my mom's Surprise 60th birthday party at PF Chang's next weekend. I want to stay on plan a tiny bit of deviation is ok- but no bad carbs like rice or noodles). I was thinking about having the wonton soup minus the wontons, stir-fried Buddha's Feast Veggies, and Mongolian Beef. I realize there is probably some sugar in the Mongolian Beef, but I don't know what else to get.

Any ideas?

Oatmeal twice a day?

Does anyone besides me eat oatmeal twice a day? I don't do this EVERYday, but I do have it twice a day a few days per week. I absolutely LOVE the MF oatmeal (nothing compares!) but I've been stalling for awhile now and am hoping it's not because of my precious oatmeal!

I'm wondering if anyone has lost alot of weight on MF just using the oatmeal? Is that possible?

I usually have one of ...

I have been perusing the Lean Cuisine pages for ideas.

What can I add to my shopping list so I have a wide variety of dinner ideas? Here is what I have so far:

cauliflower
peppers
onions
diet soda
Fat Free 1/2 and 1/2

Munchy-Crunchy Oriental Stir-Fry

I saw on here that someone suggested adding soy sauce & a tad of Splenda for a "sweet-n-sour" feel to cabbage or stir fried veggies, so I kinda went with it. Made enough for my whole family & they ate it up!

(NOTE: This is a huge recipe - if you don't have a big family like me, you could prepare all the veggies, toss them together (not cook them) & measure out your servings ...

Saigon Cinnamon??

Has anyone here tried the "Saigon Cinnamon" put out by McCormick Spice Company? Wow, it's delicious, almost too delicious. I mean, it tastes like it has sugar in it, but I don't see any reference of it being added to the product. The outside states that it is one of the "sweetest" cinnamons around, but this stuff tastes REALLY sweet to me. I've been dumping it in everything, shakes, soups, puddings, oatmeal.

I read somewhere ...
