Please ignore

I am sure someone posted this already, but for those of you who like puddings this might be worth a try. I think the texture and taste are yummy and it might make a good cheesecake if one uses the MF crackers as pie crust. Just a thought. I am going to try it for Thanksgiving.

Thai Peanut Sauce

Someone mentioned thai peanut sauce recently and it got me going. So, since I couldn't find one that would be ok for MF I made one up. I used Steels Mango Curry Sauce 2.8 carbs per TBSP and added Davinci SF Peanut Butter Syrup. Yummie. I used about equal parts of each which cuts the carbs in the sauce but you can do it to your own taste. Also added some red pepper flakes but ...

Shirataki Noodles

Okay, I know there are threads about this already...but this is my experience with the noodles. I ordered them from Miracle Noodle, but they have not arrived. So, out of curiousity, I bought he Tofu version of the fettucine at Whole Foods. I rinsed and then BOILED them for 6 minutes, drained and added sauce. I did not get ONE bite down without my gag reflex sending me to the bathroom and I fed them ...

DON"T eat bagged spinach!!!

I'm sure most here have heard, but, just in case,
"If you have bagged spinach in the fridge, toss it. The Food and Drug Administration is warning consumers nationwide not to eat fresh bagged spinach, saying it may be the source of a multistate E. coli outbreak that has killed one person and made dozens sick. "We're advising people not to eat it," said Dr. David Acheson of the FDA."

THAI COCONUT SOUP

I am sure I am not the first one to think of this...But I had to share. I miss Thai food, especially the coconut curry soup. So, today I took the Chicken and Wild Rice MF soup and added 8 oz. water, some curry powder, cayenne, sprinkle of True Lemon, some Splenda and a capful of coconut extract and a smidge of DV SF coconut syrup. Cooked it on the stovetop and the smell was ...

Oatmeal pancakes

For anyone, the new people (I am one of them) who have a hard time with the oatmeal...I did not mind it at first but a little tired of it now. I tried the cookies and they were too rubbery for me. BUT I just made the pancakes and I must say that anyone who doesn't love the oatmeal should try it. I did not have syrup, just a spritz of ICBINB. I want to ...

thai peanut chicken?

I just ordered the Davinci Sugar Free Beanut Butter Syrup, so I'm not sure how sweet it is... but I was thinking it could be added to stir fried chicken and veggies and topped with cilantro for some yummy thai peanut sauce stir fry. (One of the most frequent meals I made before Medifast.)

If anyone has, or wants to try this, let me know how it is. If not, I'll wait until my syrup ...

Ginger peach tea jello

I was checking out teh Jell-O site and they had an idea to make peach jello using tea and adding some peaches.

I made SF peach jello and used Crystal lite in place of water. I just added in ginger. Not too bad. I am sure it would be better with chunks of peaches, but chunks of ginger aren't bad for the crunch adn tang part.

I was thinking of trying something with ginger peach ...

"fake" mashed potatoes

Hi all, I know this has already been up on the post somewhere in the past. But for all the new people and people who are having troubles with their L&G or missing potatoes....

Last night I pureed some steamed cauliflower in the food processor with a little ICBINB, nutmeg and garlic powder. Honestly it really is pretty close to mashed spuds and really yummy way not to miss them.

LOBSTER BISQUE

I tried this today and it was SO yummy. I love lobster bisque and even though we can't have sherry  this was almost the real thing.

1 packet MF Cream of Chicken Soup
6-8 oz. water
dash of garlic powder
1 tsp. of Better Than Bullion Lobster Base (this stuff is awesome -- could not find it in the store so ordered online)

I make ...
