Scale is only ONE measure

Last Sunday in Roll Call I was sort of disappointed about only losing 1.7 lbs. Then Diana posted a nice little reminder:

“Remember the scale is only ONE measure of how you're getting fitter, trimmer and healthier.”

Thank you Diana! I do have a tendency to get way too attached to my scale!

So I decided maybe she was right. The next day I had an idea :bigidea: ...

Awesome Support in Motion tool!

Has anybody tried this?

I was cleaning out my pantry (getting everything organized). It's summer, so I'm not eating much of my soups and such.

I tried that tool on support in motion where I did a FULL INVENTORY of my MF goodies! Yay, now as I enter the stuff in my food ate for the day, it drops the inventory and gives me a reminder when I need to re-order! I'm still finding out ...

RTD's

What is the consensus on these? Do we like them? I know it's the convenience factor but what about the taste?

I have to order and was thinking about getting the chocolate.

Thanks

Sick from supplements

Has anyone else gotten sick from them? It first started off with the shakes. The nutritionist thought maybe it was the amount of sweetener in them. Then eventually it was the soups, I think part of that was just that it got so hot that I couldn't stomach a hot bowl of soup and when I'd force it down it just wouldn't settled. I was down to eating a couple oatmeals, a bar and then ...

Light weights? Body Dome?

Hi -

I'm feeling the urge to exercise more and more often lately, but I'm not really into aerobic exercise. I was wondering if light weight training would be OK on the 5/1?

I'm thinking just biceps, triceps, chest and back. Very simple, more reps with lighter weight (I guess that makes it kind of aerobic in a way, right?). Maybe some ab work. I was thinking about getting a Body Dome, which is half ...

cukes & eggs

Are cucumbers free food like the 2 pickle spears?

And what are the MF eggs like? Do they taste like the real thing?

Can you have real eggs for b-fast and still have a L&G for supper or do real eggs count as the L of an L&G?

Thanks!

Plateaus - those pesky little things!

I am stealing this from another board, but I just thought it was fantastic.

When you are plateauing, you may want to look at it as "maintenance training". You don't have the scale moving to keep you motivated so you just need to eat right without the reward of the scale moving.

hmmmmm "Maintenance Training" is the term I will now use for all of you out there complaining about plateaus.......you KNOW who your are! ...

starting week 6 and down 25#!

This is my first post. I've never used a program like this before, but it seems to be working. I'm really encouraged by my weight loss so far. And the person who got me involved with it works in my office, so seeing him every day (after he's lost over 170#) both encourages me and keeps me honest.
So, with his help, your encouragement and help from the good Lord, I'll make it to goal!
