good news/bad news

Hello everybody,

I see lots of great losses for so many people starting the new year and lots of new members ready for great losses. Woohoo!

I'll start with my "bad news" first:
I only got half-way through December with my restart. It was going so well, down to 190 before I slipped right off MF. Family, friends, parties, celebrations, out of town trips, vacations, out of town visitors... I know, I know, all excuses ...

Measuring

Do you guys weigh the meat, fish, etc.... and then just use a measuring cup to fill up for the vegetables??

For example, a cup of lettuce is obviosuly not the same as a half pound.
I have the Gortons fish that measure 7 oz. So, that is fine since I am sure it is less cooked up, right?

How does everyone else measure?

What did we eat today? 01/08

Yesterday at around 10pm, I went to write out what I ate...Yet again my video card is giving me the dreaded blue screen, only this time it's red! Anyway, trying this again after my hubby waved his magic wand at my computer. Something got burnt in the wires, so hopefully his latest bandaid will do the trick for a while.

What I had yesterday was:

7am Oatmeal
10am Hot Cocoa
1pm Bar
4pm soup

Chocolate mint bars...... yuck!!!

I ordered a box of " Chocolate Coated Mint Madness " bars and they are awful!!! I was eating the last of my daily supplements last night and I could not finish it!!! I ate 3/4 (choked down) of a bar and had to throw the last 1/4 out ... Any suggestions???

Milestone !

I got on the scale this morning and saw 299 for the first time in a long time !!! I made sure by weighing myself 4 times LOL ! I'm looking forward to not seeing 300 ever again.
