A quick hello

Hi gang,

Well I got it! The nasty cold bug that's going around. I am laying low, working part time and resting as much as possible. Less than 2 weeks till the wedding and I just can't be sick. :uhuh:

I'm not on the computer much either so I wanted to say hello and tell everyone keep up the good work, keep positive thoughts and keep ...

A few more gone...

Hi All,

I haven't been around for a few days. Busy, busy busy. But managed to stick with the plan. My hubbie and I planned out where we were going and made sure we had shakes, bars and water with us at all times. We even packed food, a steamer for the vegetables, seasonings and boullion for our lean and green for dinner at his mother's house Sunday. Lots of food and cake there for ...

Sleep...

OK, I've read how important it is to get adequate sleep. Medifast makes a point of telling us to get adequate sleep.

I never realized HOW important sleep is to our weightloss efforts until this weekend! I had TERRIBLE struggles this weekend (my health advisor and Falisamarie can testify to that)! It was CRAZY busy and I was already opperating on severe sleep deprivation. I crashed last night at 8:30pm, woke up at 5:45am and ...

I have not lost one single pound since a week ago Sunday. :( What am I doing wrong? I have tried to stay positive and thought maybe it will just take a ...

Some beginner questions

I want to make sure I am doing everything right on this plan, so please help me with some of these questions. I've tried searching the board, but there are so many topics, it's hard to find specific topics. Here goes!

1. What type of salad dressing is ok? According to the book, I should have low fat/low carb. When at the store, the best I could find is Hidden Valley Fat Free ranch. It ...

Why can't I stop staring at the brownies?

So last night my fiance made himself a batch of brownies. I didn't think much of it. He's made all kinds of goodies since I began my MF journey and I have been minimally tempted, if at all. Today, I can not stop staring at those brownies! I find myself walking over and staring at them, fighting with myself internally about whether or not to have one. I just had some oatmeal, and I added ...

Pickle Question!

I was looking through the booklet and it claims that you can have two pickles as a snack. What constitutes a "pickle". Is this a full size dill pickle (like you would find in a large jar), or a spear pickle (like you find in smaller jars). Also, are any types of pickles available? I like kosher dills, which seems fairly standard.
