Couple of questions

Hi,

I will register later, but wanted to ask a few quick questions. Just started today.

Can we use Splenda for our oatmeal, etc. Can I make plain (small packs) kool-aid with Splenda and drink that?

Can we have red peppers? Like for our salad, or veggies. If not, why?

Can I use Louisianna Hot Sauce for my soups, lean and green, etc?

Thanks so much for any help.

Quick funny for you...from the microwave idiot

Well today was day 3 for me. I kept repeating to myself that it was going to go smoother than my day 2. I decided to take the advice of many and try the oatmeal as my first meal. Since I had to cook it at work, I was left to use the industrial microwave (can we say higher wattage boys and girls?). I added my 6 oz. of h20 and set it for 2 ...

Honey Baked Ham??

I went on nutritiondata dot com and found the following nutrients breakdown for honey baked ham. Do you think 5 ounces of ham with salad/veggies could constitute a lean and green meal for Easter?

1 ounce...

Calories: 34
Total Fat: 1 gram
Total Carb: 2 grams
Sodium: 254 grams

So, 5 ounces would be...

Calories: 170
Fat: 5 grams
Total Carbs: 10 grams
Sodium: 1270 grams

What's Medifast's stance on ham?

I think I am going to blow up !!!!

I am doing great on the diet, having a problem eating every two to three hours however. Not because I am not hungry or because I don't have the time, but because I am really having a problem feeling bloated and gassy....

I am not a burping person, in fact my husband has been laughing at me, because I never burp, but for the life of me, the last 10 days I have felt ...

OMG the migraine!!

Hi all! I started yesterday and was very excited but by 4pm I had a major migraine and by 8 I was throwing up from my migraine!! I was sooooo hungry! Anyone else have these? I mean it's not the first time I have thrown up from such a headache but man...I'm scared to continue. I have ALWAYS gotten a bad headache if I don't eat. Maybe it was just a coincidence. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Coffee and Me, No Longer Agree...:-(

Hi all,

Anyone else finding that they suddenly can no longer stomach (literally) coffee since going on the Medifast Plan. :nonono:

I'm not a coffeeholic by any means, but I like a cup every once in a while. Nothing fancy, just plain coffee with a smidgin of cream. The last few times I've had a cup my tummy ...

goal splurge

I have been planning`for my first goal of 20 LBS. lost to eat one of the foods that I miss the most. This time it will be Beef, bean & cheeze Buritos:bib:. I know this is not on the plan but I figured it would'nt hurt me.

How long will it take to get back to a ketosis state?
Will this cause me any problems?
Is what I'm gonna do just STUPID:huh:

Thanks

Alternatives to Medifast Crackers?

I know that we are supposed to stick with Medifast products as much as possible, but I would like to find an alternative to Medifast crackers. They have 50 calories, and don't really offer a lot for that. Couldn't we just buy similar low calorie/carb crackers at the grocery store?

Plus, I forgot to order some with my most recent order, and I don't want to place another order for a few boxes of crackers.
