10lb club please!

Woohoo, the scale is actually moving for me this week! I'm down 11lbs since April 24th. I've lost 3" from my waist and I couldn't be happier! I plan to keep on shakin till I reach my goal weight of around 145-150lbs.

Ok - i'm confessing........well, I guess I just need re-motivation and encouragement!

OK - started off wiht Monthers day - had a little more than i should, skipped dessert.

We had out of town guests and took them to this AMAZING BBQ place (a place i have manged to avoid since April 4th) and had 1 slice of their homemade bread, a bit of meat and a 1/4 of the peach cobbler.

5 week success!

Just got back from the Doctor's office and got my official 3rd party verification for my 5 week loss. 35lbs was the total loss for the 5 weeks! And my BP is now in a very acceptable range to boot! I go back in 3 weeks for another vist and a blood work-up. Will be interesting to see what my cholesterol levels are. They were well within normal when I started so I am interested ...

20 pounds!

Well I barely did it but here I am, exactly 20 pounds lighter. :) Surprising I'm losing anything at all this week as I'm having major PMS LOL!

Still losing :) and questions...

I've been in the final stage of transition for 5 days now. i was so worried that i would gain weight. but i weighed myself and have lost another .2 :)... maybe this maintenance thing will really work!

i do have a question though... am i officially in maintenance now? or does maintenance start after i've done the last stage of transition for 2 mos?

Remember the happy place I was at last week???Well the very next day I swear a train came out of nowhere and knocked me on my behind...and a big one it is. Fibersure question

Has anyone used this product? I would like to know the nutrition information but can't find it on-line (firbersure dot com). The product is supposed to be clear and grit free when mixed in water. The information I read also says you can cook & bake with it and since it is tasteless you can not tell it is there. It contains Inulim from chicory root instead of Psyllium.

I need to add some fiber ...

Advice

I've been on the diet for awhile, struggling, but I am completing my term papers this week. I'm finding that I need more energy to fuel my brain and have considered going off the diet momentarily to really put all of my fuel into my papers. I study philosophy so it is really essential I have the resources to focus. Any advice?

Soy crisps are the best thing ever.

I bought some soy crisps the other day (a different brand, but the same nutritional facts), and they make for an awesome mid-day treat.

The kind that I bought are rather thin and taste like a mix between potato chips and popcorn. Really, really, good.

I just bagged up a lot of them in little ziploc bags. I think I may start using these as a mid day treat. I may even replace my daily ...
