Newbie just sayin hi!

This is my first day on medifast and my first post to a forum ANYWHERE so after reading everything on here and how much support and fun goes on I'm on board! Heres my story: I just had my 30th birthday in September. 15 years of my life I was incredibly thin (5ft 11 135lbs) but 4 kids later, many surgeries and life in general I am now 233lbs. I am hoping to make it ...

what works for pulling out of a gloomy mood

I have been on MF for over 100 days and I am so near my half way point, 30# club and getting below 180! I am not often needing to ask for help with my mood, but I have been very gloomy about my slow weight loss these last two weeks which included a stall!

I have tried to be grateful for my nearly 30 lbs loss so far and the improved health benefits I ...

Fat Suggestions, PLEASE :-)

Good Morning!

I'm looking for fat suggestions!! I end up doing 6&0 more often than I thought I would these days. I've been so busy that its just worked out to be the best way for me to stay OP and not stress out.

Anyway, I assume I still need a fat serving on these days? Isn't that true? If so, I'm looking for OP suggestions. I'm not really into eating servings of mayo (accck) ...

Question about "grazing"

Well, I suppose that title will attract some looks. Ok, here's the deal....

I am a vendor at craft shows on Saturdays and my normal routine would be to stop at Mc D's for a BEC Bagel on the way then stop in at the food booth/bake sale several times while I am there. The last show I was at, I was able to resist the tempations even though I was right in front of ...

Complete Medifaster (Full fast): I have a question for you!

There are days when I have been doing 6+0 instead of 5+ - - the reason was because it was simple (I was away, tired, etc). I think I have preffered the full fast days - whats up with that?!?

Anyway, on those days when I replace my L&G with a supplement, I'm wondering if I still need to have a fat. For those of you that do the full fast, do you add fat ...

Shakes vs. Other MF drinks

Here's my question of the day < > :

I keep hearing and reading about how special the MF shakes are - - and while its no longer required to have 3 a day, because now we can mix-n-match MF meals, I've heard it is still a good thing to do (3 a day). I even think I read somewhere on here that if your losing ...

Success in a Shaker Jar: Anyone want to sell/trade/loan?

I'd love to read this book but they're out of print. If you have a copy you no longer use, PM me if you'd like to sell it. OR, I'd pay shipping both ways if you have one you'd like to loan me ;-)

Thanks :-)

Just Ordered

I just ordered a months worth of Medifast food. How difficult is it at the very beginning? Are you always hungry? What's up with the Lean and Green thing? On the official website it puts it up there as if that is how it should be but here people are talking about just drinking the Medifast food.

Questions: Health Mate Blender AND Getting rid of the grit

Hi all:

I'm wondering if anyone has the Health Mate Blender? If so, do you like it, was it worth it? Why do you like or dislike it? I'm using a regular blender now for my shakes and it just seems so big and bulky -- just trying to find a better way. Plus, the cups looked to have lids - thought I could premake pudding and store it in the cup.

Also, for the ...

To snack or not to snack, that is the question!!

I'm looking for advice/thoughts/examples on the allowed snack - - do you do it? Does is aide in weight loss or hinder?

I'm asking because I know I'm supposed to have the 6 meals and the snack seems optional - - is it better to skip it or have it? To be honest, I haven't needed it yet. Of course, I am only on day 2 - lol. I did get a bit hungry today ...
