Newbie with Questions

Postby kathyj30078 » May 4th, 2006, 7:05 am

Hello. Today is day 5 for me and I have lost 9lbs so far. It has been a rough few days but each day I feel a little better.

I do have a couple of questions though. I am fortunate and have a job that allows me to work from home a couple days a week and on those days it's no problem spacing my meals. But on the days that I have to go to the office, I am constantly in meetings. My eating schedule on days at home is first meal at 8:30, 2nd at 11:00, 3rd at 1:30, 4th at 3:30, L&G at 6:30 and 5th at 8pm.

On the days that I go to the office I sometimes have to double up on the meals like I will have my oatmeal and a hot chocolate at 10:30 etc...

Will this have an adverse affect on the weightloss or ketosis level?

Thanks for any advice you guys can give!!

Hi Kathy and welcome! :) Glad you're here!

If at all possible, don't double up on the suppliments. You can eat as soon as 2 hours apart and as late as 4 hours apart. Also, my hubby takes soups or hot drinks in a 12 hour thermos, so if he has a meeting...he pours it into a mug and drinks it while the others drink their coffee. Everyone in his office is VERY supportive of his weight loss too.

Hope this helps a little :)

Hi Kathy,

I try to schedule a little extra time between appointments with clients so that it doesn't happen, but when I get tied up and can't mix a shake, I just run to the fridge and grab an RTD (ready to drink shake). They are lifesavers at work. Stuff happens and we can't always eat on a perfect schedule, but the RTD's help.

Question

Postby kathyj30078 » May 4th, 2006, 7:33 am

Where do I find the RTD shakes? I ordered my first order from the medifast website. I have seen several postings that reference other items that I can't seem to find....is there a website that has these shakes?

Thanks so much for the info... these are great alternatives.

The RTD's are listed listed right after the Medifast 55 shakes I believe. I have ordered them from Medifast and also TSFL. You can order on line, but I usully call the 1-800 number and speak to a person. Just click call
1-800-621-1927 and tell them you would like to order the ready to drink shakes. They are delicious and very convienent. I order them by the case.
