Hey Everyone!
I've been on Medifast for about 6 weeks now (and proud to say that I've lost 24 pounds) but I'm new to your group. I just stumbled on you guys last night and have been reading several of your posts. You all seem so funny, encouraging & motivating that I just couldn't resist joining in!
I love your "Lean Cuisine" section! YUM!! I read so many different ideas that I'm anxious to try them out. This group just seems to be full of so much information - and I love all the emoticons.
Well, anyway, I have about 50 more pounds to lose, so I figure I'll be around for awhile longer. I'm hoping to get to my goal by August or September...and then the real trick begin - learning to keep it off!!
I had done Medifast a LOOOONG time ago when it was only shakes & I only had 30 pounds to lose and it worked great then. (about 16 years ago). Now, after having 3 kids and a husband who loves to eat out, my weight has been creeping, creeping until I could stand it no more! I'm glad I have made the decision to get rid of it - and start living a happier, healthier life. I've felt sorry for my kids for so many years for having a "fat" mom - I used to swear (when I was young & skinny) that I would NEVER allow myself to get like "that" when I would see overweight women. I guess that it was my pay-back!!
I'm really enjoying the whole plan this time and love all the varieties. I made it through Easter dinner without even wanting to cheat - and I hope I can keep this determination and motivation strong - to get me to my goal!! I'll be 41 in August - and the new "thin me" is going to be my birthday gift to myself!!
Ok, then - I guess that's my intro...I'm still trying to figure out how to read the board exactly. Is there some way that posts the new messages daily - or do you just go into the topic first and then look for new posts?
