Newbie, too!

Postby ScottsMom » January 15th, 2006, 7:57 pm

Hello, Everyone.
I just discovered this forum tonight. I will be ordering Medifast this Friday. I am SO excited. It sounds like everyone is having great success. I have tried numerous other "diets" and am so ready for something that just works!! I gained quite a bit of weight with my pregnancy. I can't use the "I just had a baby" excuse anymore. He is almost 16 months old, now. I have always struggled with my weight, but I haven't been this heavy since high school. When I get to my goal, I am taking my husband on a tropical vacation and we are going to lay around in the sand for a week. I will be wearing a bathing suit and will not be worrying about what I look like in it! Can you imagine!?! I can't wait!!!
I am really looking forward to getting to know all of you. You seem like wonderful people!

Hi Lora,
It is sooooo great to see so many new "faces" on the forum. You are right this is a great place and everyone is very very helpful. We all do the very best we can to help one another. Make certain and keep posting so we'll know how you're doing. Pretty quick you'll be able to go shopping for that new swimsuit. Oh and by the way my "baby" was 25 when I finally parted with the "baby fat"

Welcome Lora!

Today was my first day...but I've been all over the forum for a solid week or more. :D I discovered the forum the day I ordered and used the time in between ordering and getting started to do a lot of research and get to know so many of the great people in Thinsville. Soon we can join them there!

Congratulations on finding the forum and deciding to make Medifast your new way of life. I just started, but I feel great, and I just know that I am here to stay.

Although lookin good in a bathing suit rubbin your toes in

the sand and feelin GREAT and HEALTHY. That would make me

You can do this! Welcome aboard.

Just Ordered!

Postby ScottsMom » January 16th, 2006, 7:34 am

Hey Guys!
I just ordered off the Medifast website. I was going to wait until payday on Friday, but I decided to use my play money (credit card). How long does it usually take for orders to get out? I hope it is here by next Monday. My parents are coming to celebrate my 31st birthday this weekend, so I could start Monday and it would be perfect!
Can't wait!!!
Hey, whare did you all get the little "measuring sticks" you sign your posts with? Those are cute and a great way to show progress.
Thanks, already, for your encouragement.

Lora

Welcome!!!

I just started on Medifast yesterday and I love it!!

I am still in the transition phase of getting my body into ketosis so I am feeling kinda yucky :puke: but I know that this will pass in a few days so I am sticking it out :table:

I have to tell you I love the products and Davinci syrups which you have probably read about here :puter: makes them even better!! :bib:

Good luck to you and happy b-day :candle:

I, too, am going to be vacationing in April on a Caribbean cruise. Need to shed some pounds so they don't throw me overboard thinking they have landed a big one!! :roflmao:

Seriously - not doing it for the vacation - doing it for a better rest of me :kool:
