I started mf last month, and I was only into it for 3 days and gave up. I was so miserable when the whole family was eating dessert every night and I had to suffer!!! So I thought to myself, I should be happy not miserable, even if it means gaining weight.

I am also doing LipoDissolve- (let me know if you dont know what it is) I went to my appt last week, and the dr yelled at me for not sticking with MF. So I talked myself into starting it again on Monday (yesterday) I am finding more variations to combining the foods so that I can stick to it.

During the month that I that I quit mf I gave up regular coke and switched to diet. that was the HARDEST thing I had to do. I have never liked diet and would never switch. Now I am used to drinking it and taste ok. I also quit using sugar in coffee and used splenda. Just those 2 changes alone will help me stick to the mf.

I have lost some weight from the change, and now I expect to lose more weight with MF, as my goal is to stick with it this time. I dont want to be called a failure again!!

Welcome!! This program really works, and if you work it, it will work for you. After the first week, you will be so amazed by how much your tastes change.

Also, you can have pudding for dessert, or make a blended shake. You can also make oatmeal cookies, and when I am really wanting something special, I put some walden farms choc. sauce on my oatmeal cookie, and I feel better.

Good luck. Check in as often as you need, and keep your head up. You made such a wonderful decision.

Hi Toni,
The first week is the most difficult for sure! It will be much easier after the first few days. We are here to help, this program is very "do-able".
You'll be seeing results pretty quickly, that'll be motivational for you.
Hang In, you can do this!!!

I actually found MF through LipoDissolve. They said that I could only get one area done since I was over weight. Once I weigh 160 I can do more areas.

They are conjoined with MF and allowed me to do lipodissolve if I follow MF. Which is why the dr yelled at me when I didnt follow it.

Thanks for the welcome everyone, sure glad to be here.

Hi Toni
First of all WELCOME to the forum. Please don't think of yourself as a "failure" ... we all have learning experiences along life's journey.
Plus remember those desserts aren't gone forever and as my friend Nancy says "you know what they taste like ... so you don't have to take a taste to see"
Now as to parting with the pounds. We all like to look great.. that's generally why most of us begin the program... unless of course we've gone soo far that those nasty weight related illnesses are taking place.
Then our Dr. starts "talking to us". You are very very fortunate.. your Dr. sent you here before you acquired a weight related illness.
Remember Dr. Andersen (the founder of Take Shape for Life) tells us that if you carry extra weight it's not "if" you get diabetes it's "WHEN". This puts a whole new light on weight loss. If you part with the pounds BEFORE it hits... desserts are in your future. Not everyday but we'll show you how to work one in now and then. But I'm afraid diabetes does not go away. There is no cure... we can get your sugar levels down and stable but it's always lurking. It's a life long issue.
Think of this as a medical program... it is!! It is something you are going to do for yourself to help insure that you have a long healthy life with your family. You want to be able to watch your grandchildren eating dessert at grandmas. No dessert other than our yummy MF products isn't soooo bad!! :D
