FIL actually passed away last February. He was cremated and according to his wishes we will be scattering some of his ashes and having an informal gathering of family and friends in the Sierra's where he and MIL had lived for the last 30 years. MIL wanted to wait for the snow to melt, otherwise you need a snow cat or a tall horse to get back to the property and that's inconvenient for us city slickers who don't own either one. I'm going to miss the old fellow. He made me feel like one of the family the first time I ever met him. We had 25 years of camaraderie and I miss him. I'm not saying goodbye, though. This is more like, "See you later." His work here is done. Some day I will put down my own work and re-join my family who have gone on ahead of me.
