HELP!!! I'm starting day number 3 on the Medifast diet. My hunger seems to be going away slightly, but it is still VERY hard! I am excited, and scared all at the same time....I'm a 30 year old stay at home mom who is 5'2", and I weigh 220lbs. I so desperatly want to lose this weight and be healthy...I've tried other programs, WW, NutriSystem, even phentermine, and they all only provided temporary results. I welcome any suggestions, motivating words--ANYTHING! I would also like to be able to correspond with other Medifaster's......Good Luck to all, and I hope my next post will reveal some weight lost!

Hi Eli --

Don't be afraid or worried. This is the BEST program!! All you have to do is do exactly what you are told and it will work. The pounds will come off.
Make sure you are getting all of your water too.
Not quite as hungry today?? That's the way it works. The first three days are the hardest after that it generally is not too difficult.
Keep your goal in mind and post right here. There are lots and lots of others who will watch your progress, cheer you on, and help you with your concerns. You are on the right road :D
I'll be watching for you 8)

Eli - WELCOME !!!!!!!!!! You are doing GREAT. I was one of those whose hunger was out of control in the beginning. Even on the site they kept telling me it was "head hunger." Someone needed to tell my tummy b/c it was GROWLING NON STOP!!! As a mom you will appreciate that my 3 year old even accused me of passing gas  . Nope it was my tummy. Someone recommended an acid blocker like Pepcid AC - It helped me a lot and I still take it occasionally when I have been chewing gum a lot. I still get hungry now but it is when I am due to eat. Honestly food rarely crosses my mind. Try the Pepcid - post a ton and HANG IN THERE !!!! YOU CAN DO IT, Mytime

Hi, I'm new too, so we can go through this together. I had an extra shake the first couple of days which seemed to help. :D The first few days of any diet are always the hardest, but now I feel less hungry on this than any diet I've tried before! Drink lots of water :-)
