Newbie 2 Medifast...1st order arrives on Monday

My name is Ebony and I'm a 34 year old wife and step mother in Chicago. I currently weigh 250#'s and am 5'5". It is my highest weight. I was only 180 when my husband and I started dating again 10 years ago and 200 when we were married 5 years ago. My goal is to get back to 180.

I considered WLS after researching it for a year. I had decided on the LapBand, but 1 week before my scheduled surgery date, I cancelled. It just isn't for me....I became more and more terrified as the date got closer and the surgeon had a less than attractive bedside manner.

I am confident I can lose the weight with Medifast after reading several boards and studying the program for the last 4 months. I know however that I will need your help and support.

This appears to be a very supportive forum and I'm looking forward to chatting with all of you. Wish me luck. I'm looking forward to receiving my order on Monday. :D
