I'm New

I just placed my order and I'm looking foward to the program! Very nervous and excited at the same time. The only thing I don't like so far is knowing that I will have to cut out a lot of my workouts! Can you chew gum??? Thanks! :) :)

Hey Jeni - you've found the right place to meet your weight goals and meet a lot of nice people! I don't chew gum, but I'm sure someone will be along soon to fill you in. Good luck!

Hi! Welcome to the group :goteam: I know you will just love this program. I know that some here do use sugar free gum but you will have to wait :felix: for someone to chime in with how much you can have in a day cause I am not a gum chewer either.

Can't wait to see how you are doing

Keep us posted

JustJeni,

Yes, you may have sugar free gum and I want to say I read somewhere that you should have no more than 5 pieces per day, but I am not sure about that (seems alot to me).

I copied a previous post from Jan that stated:

"Yes you may chew gum ---- sugar free -- that is. But, be careful the sorbitol can irritate your stomach and make you feel hungry. If you have tooooo much sorbital it can also cause very quick trips to the potty!!"

I usually chew a piece of gum a day, just for the pleasure of chewing

 Hi Jeni! Welcome to the best boards in the whole world! :hi5:

The only thing I don't like so far is knowing that I will have to cut out a lot of my workouts!

I could be wrong but ... if you've been working out you still can. Just slow it down for a few weeks. Give your body a chance to get adjusted.
