New pictures of the old guy and his offspring!

Postby explorthis » March 1st, 2004, 11:59 pm

OK, here are a few shots of the old guy from last night 03/01/04.

Look even Ryan Seacrest from American idol is impressed in one of them (#3) !!!!

My wife took these last night for me. This is me and Alix, my 13 year old. We both fit in them. Amazing, I have lost about 14 pounds more than she weighs. These pants are some remaining 48" waist ( am in a 38" now) ones I still have, that were somehow not tossed out. Bummer, all of the 50" ones are gone!! All I could find was the 48" ones. Bottom pic is my angel Niki, (2-1/2) oh what a tangled web we weave. They are the lights of my life!!

AMAZING what Medifast can do if you are serious, and just give it the credit it deserves. Trust me, there is NO BETTER FEELING.

I am NEW LIVING proof!

-Mike

P.S. Jeanette, I did smile in a few for you!!

Mike congrats you look great. Your family is adorable! You know what though, this shows a softer side of you. Mr. Tough and Frank! ;)

Seriously though, you are an inspiration to us all!!! I will have to remember to hang on to a pair of my old pants so I can see the difference. That really is a great idea.

Have a great day!!! You are wonderful!

Mike ---

I am speechless and that doesn't happen often.

Thank you for welcoming me into your home and your family - because that's what it felt like when I saw these pictures. What a beautiful family -you have every right to be proud - tough guy- yeah, right.

Having lost my husband to a heart attack and knowing how we never really know what life has in store for us --- I look at you and say "thank God" this man has done something to live as many days as he can with his family. For every pound you've lost you will have extra minutes, and adventures and celebrations and special occasions and anniversaries and holidays and graduations and weddings and hugs and kisses - because you chose to stack the odds of a long healthy life in your own favor.

In many ways, I think of my husband Clif when I read some of the things you say in your posts - God how that man loved life and how funny and opinionated he was!!! I actually lost it the other day and was so touched when in your usual flip wayand without knowing what you were doing referred to something the "Shiner" said in one of your posts --- my maiden name is Shine and my husband used to call me Shine, Shineface and yes, you got it --- Shiner. Chokes me up...but a nice choke.

You have taken control of your life, you have chosen life on the extended plan if you have anything to say about it --- enjoy that family, they are beautiful and brimming with pride for their Dad -- you deserve every bit of it.

Thanks for being here and sharing your experience, strength and hope. Don't dump us now that you're svelte and successful - WE NEED YOU!!!!

WE WILL do this together!!! :stroll:

Well, unless you get tired of me, I ain't goin anywhere's.

Thanks for the compliments. I am no tough guy, a pretty soft one if you ask me. My Family does come first and formost over and above EVERYTHING in my life. Nuti'n makes me happier than to spend time w/ my kids. (family) I am a GREAT Dad.

I dunno about "svelte", but I am a successful Medi-loser! Interesting, I have been at my current weight for about 6-7 weeks, and there is not ONE minute pass by that when I am walking, I am not walking TALLER. I mean this. It STILL makes all the difference in the world to feel this way, a way/feeling I have never expierienced. I like this feeling, I love this feeling. If it becomes less and less, then so be it. But for now, I am living large. Comments in the hall are less and less, as people are getting used to this Mike, but nary a day goes by that someone does not say something, and it again just adds fuel to the "completed" fire, that this was ALL worthwhile.

I want all of you to feel this euphoria, I cannot begin to describe the magnitude of the feeling.... Keep faithful, Medifast does work. MEDIFAST DOES WORK, with your assistance.

Hey there, Big Loser Guy ~

So happy to see your  smile  and the great pictures of the fam. Where's the wife???

We are so :hi5: proud :hi5: of you, Mike! I tell ya, this Medifast stuff is absolutely the best thing around! I know you just love it when people stop by your office to check out your bod.

Terry and I went to a Take Shape For Life dinner meeting this evening and I wore a leopard print jumper, a black turtle neck sweater, fishnet stockings and my Doc Martens - Gosh, it was WONDERFUL to wear a mini skirt and to feel good about my legs and body! Medifast - I  LOVE  this stuff!!!

Wowser! You are such a BIG LOSER, Mike - so happy for you and so glad that you took your picture and for sharing your success with others - they can do it, too, because Medifast works.

Mike, isn't it great to know that you will have so many more productive and healthy years to spend with your children and (sigh) someday your grandchildren because you made such an excellent decision to get healthy and lose that excess poundage? :toast: Here's to you, Man!

You have a darling family!
