Thank you all for the warm welcome. Do any of you find stress makes your loss occur more slowly? If you do, how do you handle it?

Things are stressful around my house (usually) and I feel like I'm being buried under with negativity. As a writer, it's been a deal killer - my imagination station needs revamping.

Hi Jonna~ WELCOME!

Stress affects each of us differently, but personally I believe it can cause you to lose slower. Maybe try taking a nice soothing bath or just going for a nice walk. I think it is important to take a few minutes each day to allow yourself to wind down a bit.

Hope that helps a little.

I stopped by the doctor's office and weighed in today. After one week I've lost at least 3#. I actually had my first weigh-in a week before I got my food and I had a little of that "might as well eat it now, I won't be able to next week" thing going. So, I might have added to my starting weight but, I'm not sure. Anyway, we'll call it 3# gone and ready for more to slide away.

I woke up early (for me) today in spite of DST (which I loathe) and had energy! Washed a couple of clothes, worked on my website, tried a cookie recipe (got busy with the website and burnt the cookies, oh well). Had an energy drop around three thirty and napped a bit before making dinner. :chef:

Do we have to eat the full seven ounces of chicken breast? It felt like too much for me. :help:

Welcome Jonna - glad you are here. Stress seems to be my middle name. That's one of the reasons why I joined MF - the stress just keeps coming and I eat when I am stressed. This structured program prevents me from doing that...and your weight continues to come off.
