New Momentum by Medifast Line of Products

Meet Terry and Nancy.

I'm trying to figure out how to use an infuser with hot cocoa without making the cocoa taste fruity ;)

They do have the Momentum products in their own package starting Feb 15th... they also have them added to the 4 week variety package as well.

Nancy posted that info here:

http://www.makemethinner.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12200

These are great products for everybody, so if you know folks that don't want to do this program, they could still get the infusers to help them with energy and appetite control. ;)

Mike ~

A fruity Hot Cocoa, huh? It might taste all right to add the Mixed Berry Flavor Infuser to the Hot Cocoa; sometimes I like to add a driplet of raspberry sugar-free DaVinci Syrup to Hot Cocoa and I really enjoyed the Dutch Choc Shake with the Mixed Berry Infuser - it is not an intense berry flavor and gave it a subtle hint of berry - not bad.

I like the fact that the Momentum Infusers is just another way to get in some extra water plus the antioxidant benefits.

We’re seeing more research about how antioxidants may help with the aging process and assist the body by decreasing the likelihood of infection, cataracts, cancer, etc.

I read an article that said our cells become damaged overtime as a result of oxidation – I know that when the paint on my VeeDub becomes oxidized, it needs to be cleaned up to prevent it from deteriorating and just like rust on a car or boat, oxidation causes damage to our human body cells and researchers say that may contribute to the aging process. Antioxidants are good things. aging...I need all the help I can get! Now that I am more experienced in life, I understand the value for younger people to attain and maintain a healthy weight.

I have tried my infusers that came today; the lemon green tea and the mixed berry, both were delish. There is a lingering after taste that is not unpleasant, but I can not figure if it is the sweetner or a mineral taste?

Worked super well at curbing my afternoon munchies - I was able to have my lean and green without wanting to go overboard and didn't finish my lean hamberger patty! (the dog and cat were happy to have it)

Didn't make me jumpy or shake, and gave my a good zip for the afternoon.

Thanks for your report, Reporter Joy!

I tried the Green Tea Lemon in two versions:

1.) Mixed with icy cold water from the refer. I thought it was tasty, it didn't taste as 'green' tea-like as I expected; more like regular iced tea with lemon - similar to Lipton instant Iced Tea with lemon.

2.) Stirred into piping hot water. I liked it best this way; of course it may have been because I was freezing and hot tea is my preference.

Mixed Berry is my husband's first choice; mine, too.
Next we like Strawberry Lemonade.
Green Tea Lemon takes third place.

It does keep the tummy rumblies under control.

Ooooh!! I'm going to have to try the tea hot!!

I have to remember to sip them -- they're guzzlable!! I like the fact that they give be a better lift than my morning coffee without a) the added calories from the half-n-half since I just don't like it black and b) the coffee breath afterward.

Like Joy -- REALLY helps curb cravings!

AND my hands and feet aren't like ice anymore!! Gotta love that thermogenesis! The heat in my classroom is unreliable. I'm grateful we only live in fog and rain, not snow. I'm a high-energy teacher anyway, but it's been REALLY COLD in my classroom some days. And I've been freezing some mornings despite multiple layers (I think I counted 7 one morning). Tthe Momentum products have really made a difference in warming me to the core. (And Mike likes the fact that my feet aren't ice cubes anymore.)

So I think it is okay but just to be sure. I like the strawberry/lemonade infuser. It is okay in water. My question is can I mix this with pink lemonade crystal light. And yes I do drink my regular water about a gallon a day. I am thinking about the summer time. I go to the pool, and sometimes water is just so boring. I need something to really quench my thirst.

Hi, Katie.

My understanding is, yes, you can mix the infuser with other things (even mix it in with non-Momentum Medigrub). So, go for it!!

That works too. Just remember, each infuser is 5 cal, and each crystal lite is 5 cal.

I actually have had the straw/lemon (my favorite by the way) in a can of Diet Squirt... it was yummy. I also tried it in SF Tropicana lemonade... yummy as well.

Pretty much, its not gonna be affected by stuff... you could also mix them in puddings and shakes I suppose.

Has anyone noticed positive scale results with use? I just started the infusers this week (LOVE THEM!) and I've had a rather awesome week on the scale......just wondering if I'm the only one? (maybe the two aren't related?)

Well that answered a question for me.. lol.. I have been having the worst winter.. my hands, feet and nose are always frozen.. I keep the house over 80F, and my office too, and it still isn't enough. I had to put a portable radiator under my desk at work this week to get rid of the shakes. I wasn't sure if it was the new meds causing it or weightloss!

Glad to hear the infusers help, looking forward to getting some in my next order. :)

Kelly In my honest opinion, It might be a little of both. I get very cold. Just think you have less fat that keeps you warm ;)

Sounds like someone needs a warm winter state to live in. You know how folks have summer homes... you need a winter one.

Yeah! What he said! I had that problem when I lived in colder weather. Since returning to the South though, I'm nice and cozy :)
