It's too soon to be absolutely sure, but since I gave up the DaVinci syrups Thursday afternoon, I've been down every single day, which is completely unheard-of for me. I've lost 2 pounds since then!!

If this keeps up, I might actually reach my goal before the next millennium.

Great! Good for you! :yay:

I haven't actually used any syrup yet but as slow as I lose, :x I don't think I'll even go down that road.

That's very interesting to know. I haven't tried any of the syrups and saw some yesterday at the mall at a coffee shop. I started to buy one but then changed my mind when I remembered reading on the forum that they had slowed some peoples weight loss. I think I will do without for now, especially after reading your post. :hmmm:

Dang, I didn't know about the syrups... I use them several times a day... everyday....

maybe that is what is slowing me down????

Guess I will have to go cold turkey and cut out the syrups, see if that jump starts me any.

thanks for the heads up.

Interesting. I just talked to my hypoglycemic friend, who reacts poorly to the syrups. She said her doctor told her about a diabetic patient who ALSO can't tolerate them. So maybe it's not all that uncommon, after all.

All I know is there are some things I won't do without just so I can lose weight. But Toasted Marshmallow isn't one of 'em. Especially now that I'm becoming addicted to the frozen hot chocolate. It's going to make my summer SO much nicer.

I was just telling someone that today. I'd have it even if I weren't on Medifast.

Robin - I was anxious to hear how the syrup test went. Wow, who woulda thought? :) I just had my first syrup-free day ... I hope I get the same results!

Good luck, Nicki! Like I said, it's still really too soon to tell if this will continue, but I'm certainly hopeful. I wish I'd thought of this MONTHS ago, though!! Apparently I'm not just "slow" when it comes to weight loss!!!
