Thank you all...you are so nice!

I'm hanging in there....I felt pretty tired yesterday and a little hungry.

My husband is already complaining about the cost....I asked him how he could put a price on my health? I probably spend that much plus some in junk foodds and carby stuff a month.

I know I can do this. I've never been so excited about anything!

Welcome, Sarina!!! So glad to have you with us. I know in the beginning it does seem expensive, but as time passes and you start dropping weight, your feelings will change. This is the best decision that I've ever made.

Sarina

My husband use to think the same way about the cost. Then we found out just how expensive it is to have our health go bad because we did not nurture and take care of our bodies.

You are taking care of the only body you have. You know the old saying "if you have health you have wealth" I FOUND OUT IT IS TRUE!!!

Thanks to medifast my husband and I have our health back.

HeySarina,

I too am on day one today, very cool. Don't be bummed about the chili, I took pretty tentativ e steps with the Oatmeal, but the bottom line is, even if the product is not my favorite food, it IS THE ANSWER to my 263 lbs problem.

I KNOW without a doubt or hesitation that by eating, drinking things that I may not always like for 6 months, my LIFE will change, the lives of my children. To have that kind of reward, I can and will do it. The flip side, do nothing and in 6 months be MORE unhappy NOT AN OPTION.

ASK YOURSELF WHY YOU WANT THIS, THEN ACHIEVE IT, YOU CAN!!!!!!!

Yes! Soak! Like overnight in a plastic container in the fridge. Add chili powder. Yummy! You have to let soups like chili, chicken noodle, minestrone, and chicken and wild rice rehydrate.

Welcome!

Welcome sarina...just_julie hit the nail on the head. I prepare my chili or soup at night ~ a lot of you guys don't care for the minestrone either. Not only does this make it easier to just heat up quickly for lunch the next day but it does get thicker. I also add a chicken bouillion cube (i dont eat beef) to them when cooking. Adds a lot of flavor. Although I need to switch to the granules because 1 cube makes it a little salty for my taste. Oh well it's all trial and error I guess. After a while, you will start to enjoy most meals (although I still can't get past the BANANA PUDDING :puke: ) But, that is just one woman's tastebuds, I know dede LOVES it.
