Hi all, just wanted to share a few photos from our recent blizzard experience. First photo is my van, before digging it out.

Next is a photo after shoveling out our 100 foot driveway

One more, different angle.

Although the official snowfall for our town was 27", we actually got over 3 feet here at our house which I'm sure you can clearly see for yourself!

I got up about a half hour ago and it's snowing again. They say another 6 inches today and still no chance of the temp going over 25 for the rest of the week. This snow may never go away! I'm sure Tami and others can attest, it's not uncommon for us to have snow in the shady spots until mid-May around here.

LW, maybe now you understand why I am thinking of moving to St. Croix!

Hmmm, guess I shouldn't complain too loudly that it's chilly here....got down to 52 last night and I had the space heater on full blast all night long, AND it's ONLY getting up to 71 today!!! I just don't know if I can bear it! :whistle:

hehehe...well Spidey, ya know...I cant imagine your Jack Frost weather anymore!! My question is, did you thank the person that did the shovelling of that crazy long drive profusely and lavish them with gifts of large amounts of cash?? LOL! I am sympathetic..that can ONLY have been a huge chore!

While living in Canada my theory on snow was always: "The good Lord put it there, and He will remove it when He sees fit!" Then again, I didnt have a driveway like that!!!!

St. Croix it is!!

Will be in touch today, btw..life has been hectic in the most redundant and mundane sort of way, but I have missed our chats. Hope you are well!!!

I wondered why I hadn't heard from you in a few days. Yes, by all means, send that email! I've been busy too, still catching up on missed work from the trip but I'm nearly there and actually got to take a TV break last night before bed!

Hey Ya'all from SNOWY Massachusetts!!
the snow is a PAIN IN THE BUTT...but I tell ya..its truly beautiful while falling...I worked an overnight last night..was up responding to calls as the snow started to fall...around 3am this morning....it is always beautiful to me!! the AFTERMATH is what is the pain in the butt!! the shoveling and brushing off your car....driving conditions hazardous on secondary roads....but its new england...we are tough and we always get thru it!!

Im off today....so GERALD...let it snow let it snow let it snow...Im staying in cozied up with a warm cup of Hot cocoa (one of my favorites) and some warm Medifast soups....and lifetime TV....what more could a girl want??!!!! :-P

Then Ill go out and shovel....and get some exercise!! lol
LOOK OUT JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA....your about to be invaded by us YANKEES here....for the NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS IN THE SUPERBOWL ONCE AGAIN!! YAHOOOOOO!!!! I want to be Mrs Brady!! lol

Snow is beautiful from the INSIDE but a pain on the OUTSIDE! I'm ready to move to St. Croix! Did you hear that I'm going there in April to start house shopping? I can't WAIT! Haven't decided yet whether I'll keep this house or not. St. Croix is right near the equator so it averages 85 degrees year round. Maybe snow will be something I will have to visit every once in a while, instead of living through! It's not as hot there in the summer as you might think. The all-time high ever recorded was 99 degrees and the all-time low was 56 or 57 (can't remember which). According to the new residents guide, they consider anything under 70 degrees to be sweater/jacket weather! LOL I don't even wear a coat unless it's under 30!

It sounds to me as if the MakeMeThinner Forum ought to have a Roundup/reunion for losers at Spidey's in St Croix since Brian and Krissie seem to have disapeared. Guess their pool party is off.
