I begin my weight lost journey along with all the other great people on here that have inspired me that I too can do it. I was always thin all my life until after 30, bad eating habits, a child, thyroid removed which put me 60 lbs over weght that I want to lose. I started Jul 27th 06 and have lost 5 1/2 lbs in 4 days so I am excited, I know it will probably not continue at this pace but it is a great start & better than gaining 5 1/2 lbs. With my great advisor mellowmom who has given me some great tips and information I am off to a great start. I do have a personal trainer that I have been working out with 1 hr 3 times a week-so have lost 12 lbs from that, ever see the show biggest loser that is what these workouts are like -manual treadmill with bands around your ankles, weight belt around your waist pulling a 75 lb weight behind you and then backwards-pretty comical wouldn't you say. I have worked out alot and or some all my life, I just need to get back on track with my eating habits and lose all that I have gained. I am a 44yr old single mom of a 14 yrs old son just a bit about me.
