Since some newbies joined us recently, I thought I’d mention that TSFL has three weekly support calls designed to assist us in our quest for optimal health.
The national calls are interactive and last 30 minutes.
To listen/participate in the call, you call the specified number.
When the system answers, you enter the pin number and the # (pound sign).
You may hear beeps as other callers are logging in.
You may not hear anyone talking right away so stay on the line; usually the host waits a minute or so to allow people to get on the line.
The host will introduce themselves and the nature of the call and sometimes asks the caller-listeners to give their name, city & amount of weight loss.
You do NOT have to talk unless you want to.
The host then speaks about a health-related topic for a short while and then asks for callers’ questions or ideas.
Phone etiquette:
Once you are logged in to the call, mute your phone by pressing the ‘mute’ button on your phone; if your phone does not have a mute button, press *6. That will mute your phone so the other people on the call will not hear your TV action shows dogs barking and your kids fighting.
When you are ready to state your name/ask a question or participate in the call, unmute your phone or press *6 and blab away.
Monday Evenings:
Nurse’s Support Call - 8:30 p.m. Eastern.

On this call, Lori Andersen, RN, provides our callers with supportive information to maximize success with their weight loss and health goals.
(It is not just for Nurses – the title may be misleading – it is for anyone on our weight management programs and Lori always has helpful information to share with us.)

I will host the 8 PM Eastern Time Maintenance call on Wednesday, January 24th, 2007.
This call is not just for people on maintenance - it's for people nearing maintenance and maintenance wannabes!
There is a rotating schedule with different hosts including Mary Jane Medlock, John Petek, and Gary & Josephine Shaw. They are great TSFL Health Advisors and have amazing weight and health management stories.
As a general rule, I will host the 3rd Wednesday of the month.

This call is not for doctors but for our clients on the Take Shape For Life programs using Medifast products.
Dr. Wayne Andersen, Medical Director of Medifast Diet and Take Shape For Life or one of his colleagues discusses current topics regarding health and wellness and answers our callers' questions.
Now that a number of you have reached transition and maintenance, you have great things to offer to others, too.
