I want to get a slidey thing too...... :D That is soo cool.

I'm hoping I'll see some progress over the next couple days.

That is funny, I like raw celery but don't like cooked celery. Wierd how that works. I'm the same way with onions, I would rather raw onion than cooked onions.....but I love onion rings....go figure!

I'll have to figure out how to paste that code into my signature so my slidey thing will work too. I hope 24k doesn't mind that we have the same thing.....

Yay bk!

I don't mind the "slidey-things" at all; imitation is the highest form of flattery, y'know. I do wonder if Unca might have a problem with all of them is all -- bandwidth issues. Unca, you out there?

My older sister used to eat raw onions like they were apples. Bleh!

Ah, thanks for the info. See, I know just enough about computers to know that bandwidth exists, and not enough to know how it works.

YES!

First time -- I just had someone (a co-worker) stop me in the ladies' room and say "are you losing weight? You look thinner."

Awesome 24K !!! :yippee:

It is always so exciting when someone finally notices. Way to go and keep up the good work!!!

I definitely don't eat raw onions like an apole, I just like some on salads and in sandwiches.

I'm so happy I got my slidey thing!!! thanks for the inspiration!!

Hi, Kids ~

Just got back from Baltimore and am trying to get caught up....bk, there is no reason for you to be hungry! Have that extra shake! Perhaps your days have been longer, more hectic, you've had less sleep or you skipped a meal one day - it catches up with you. If you experience hunger, try having your morning shakes/meals a little closer together, every 2.75 hours and see if that helps.

Today is one of those days when I did full fast, just because my schedule worked easier if I didn't stop to eat a "real" meal, but I feel like I can't possibly be losing weight because I've eaten well and haven't been hungry!

I had three shakes, an oatmeal, a bar, and the chili with crackers, and two pickles as well as at least 75 ounces of plain water (and my daily diet coke. But I'm down to just one a day now!), a cup of bouillon, and a cup of tea, and I'm quite satisfied. I also went for a short walk at lunch today, just 15-20 minutes. I used to walk every day at lunch, and am glad to be getting back into that habit.

I'm trying to stay off the scale this week because of the just one-half pound loss that showed on the scale on Sunday from the week before. I figure I'm in one of those mini-plateaus, and with luck by next Sunday there will have been movement. But if I jump on the scale every day, or even on Tuesdays and Thursdays like I was originally allowing myself, I'll drive myself crazy if there's no movement.

Remind me I said that when I need it, would ya? ;)

One day at a time.

Yup, we'll remind you all right and actually we are sending a guard to confiscate your scale if you even think of touching it with your big hairy toe before it's time.

Remember, your scale is merely a tool, it has no mind of its own, it does not measure your personal worth and it is not a indicator of your progra-compliance. It is an inanimate object, useful to show the general direction of your weight loss efforts.

You made great choices today - good for you for walking during your lunch hour!

Hubby advised me this morning that he is down to 180.0. He said "thank you!" as he kissed me goodbye on his way to work. (It's the "lean and green" dinners we have in our house now.) Our little Cavalier King Charles Spanial is missing his evening ice cream with "Dad," though.

I walked down to the mall at lunch time to get a present for my niece who will be visiting this weekend. I walked through Nordstrom's on my way to the Williams-Sonoma store, and I spent a minute or too in the "Encore" section of the store (I love Nordie's!).

What marketing genius put the petite department immediately adjacent to Encore? I was looking at suits in size 20, and stepped over to the next rack of suits to discover they were size 2! :x

Oh, 24 K ~

Gulp! Oh how well I remember looking at the Eileen Fisher, Caslon, Karen Kane and other labels in 3x...and the three X price tags...

Very very soon, you'll be doing more than looking across the aisle in the petite department! You'll be trying the petites on - and they will fit!

I am not a petite body - I have long arms and broad shoulders but I can wear some petite clothes and lemme tell ya - it is WONDERFUL! Soon and very soon, you'll be tryin' them on!
