24k - i can attest to the estrogen release!! i got my period a week early last month while on birth control (and not screwing up any of my pills!). thought i felt it coming, was like noooo, can't be it (have never had an early one while on BC. heck, even when not on i don't get it early). and there it was! lasted twice as long as normal too.

especially since obesity can supress periods, i don't think its at all surprising. you may be more fertile than you thought!! :shock:

Please! My oldest will be 20 in March, and my youngest 15 in April. I'm seeing light at the end of the teenage tunnel!!!

My hubby will start force-feeding me carbs....

i know a girl who was a st. paddy's day accident/big old surprise. she is 20 years younger than the rest of her siblings. the cute thing is that she was also born on xmas!

yeah my period is all messed up this month. And I'm super bloated. I stepped on the scale this morning, in the buff, too, and I was almost 194! Talk about a bummer. I can *feel* the bloat. Gah. I want this week over with.

I happen to be about 15 years younger than the rest of my siblings. But my mom wasn't on MF.

Got a phone call from the law firm I interviewed at a week and a half ago. They would like me to come in on Friday morning and meet "the hiring partner." This will be the time we will talk money, etc. Here's hoping!

To add to the "period" discussion (men, you can stop reading now), I just got mine today and it is weird. Lighter than usual w/ bigger than usual cramps. I also have wanted to cheat worse today than any other day and I know it is emotional eating so I am resisting BIG TIME! I feel grumpy as heck. My dear husband went to get my daughter and I more pads and didn't buy the "thin" maxi's and I could have bitten his head off! He is out walking the dogs now. The man knows when to just get out of the house! Ok, enough b-tching for one night! Off to paint to take my mind off my achy belly!

I have PCOS and my periods have yet to return. However, I have noticed a difference with my skin. I used to only break out during AF, but now it's breaking out all the time. It started right after starting MF. Water doesn't help. Oh well, it's only temporary. Oh, and good luck with your interview, 24K!

Yaay 24!!! So pleased to hear of the progress with your job interview. I'm sure everyone here will be crossing their fingers for you, me included!!

MamaD, think if I BEGGED the Dr. he'd give me one just because?

You know, I sure dont miss the perils associated with carrying around as much extra weight as I used to, this seems like a pretty small trade off to me. I do find that drinking even MORE water helps..never thought it would be possible.

Thanks for keeping us posted about the job 24K. Hopefully this darn rain of ours will be gone by Friday so you can at least have a pleasant drive over there! Geez, it is so beyond ridiculous, isn't it??
