You said you used the "Splenda for Baking".

This product is the one that has 50% splenda and 50% real sugar.

2 tablespoons of "Splenda for Baking" would equal 1 full tablespoon of pure sugar at 8 carbs.

Have you tried it with just the plain Splenda to reduce the carbs?
If I could put time in a bottle, I'd drink it! ;)

You know what?? I just grabbed up my bag of Splenda, and it is not the Splenda for Baking. I just called it that, I guess because I bought it in a big bag and it is much easier to measure than opening a bunch of little packets. I didn't even realize that there was a difference in Splenda labeled "for baking" and regular Splenda. My bag says Splenda No Calorie Sweetener Measures Cup for Cup Like Sugar Great for Cooking and Baking. There is 0 calories, 0 total fat, 0 sodium, less than 1 g total carb, and 0 protein. I am so sorry if I misled anyone!

are you serious? You don't add a oatmeal packet? I'm confused...lol

They also have a Splenda -Brown sugar, which has REAL brown sugar in it.
The all yellow bag is the 100% Splenda.
I am glad you used the regular kind. :)

I didn't get oatmeal anywhere...I was just curious as to how the shake would puff up like a muffin without flour or oatmeal.

Anyway I tried them...didn't turn out for me. Caved in and rather nasty tasting in my opinion...but then again, I don't like the oatmeal cookies or muffins either...

Isn't it funny how we all have different taste buds? I can love one thing ( like chicken noodle soup) and other people hate it!
