Mother In Law...

Postby Ashes » January 24th, 2006, 1:18 pm

Ok, my mother and I aren't the best of friends, by any means... :lightsword: but we play nice to keep things "happy"... anyways.. she just called and asked if my husband and I wanted to come over for dinner.. BUT she said "are you still on your diet where you can only eat certain things?" I said yes, she said "well... if you don't want to come over I'll understand, but what can you eat, because I'll make something that you can eat" :nana: I about FELL over.. ha ha. I told her that I can eat lean meats and veggies, so she said she was planning on making chicken, and that she would do one on the side that wasn't breaded with the rest!
:bib:
Just thought I'd share that as I am in complete shock! Oh, and very happy I don't have to worry about cooking tonight! :D

See ???? She can probably tell how great you look and she is trying to help. Take advantage fo the free meal cooked up perfect for your diet needs. Maybe she wants to check it out and once she sees that you can eat the same foods she is, she'll surprise you wiht what she has to say.
