1 month today.!!

Postby pinkbugs471 » December 12th, 2006, 5:24 am

I think that I have now lost all the easy weight. Now it is time to start on the stubborn stuff that has been with me for too long. After 1 month, with NO cheating at all, I am down a total of 22.5 lbs.

This week I am going to try more water, and to get myself on the exercise bike. It seems that by the time I get home from work, I just don't want to work out. That will change starting tonight.!! :treadjog:

This week will be a test of wills at work. Everyone is bringing in holiday treats. I will be strong and not be tempted.

I looked at all my summer clothes last night. Most are still too tight. I do not want to have to buy a new wardrobe before my vacation in February. I refuse to go on a Caribbean Cruise and not wear cute summer clothes. :ukulele: I will stay on program.

I am sure you will look luscious on your cruise. This March I went on a cruise and they lost our luggage and we had to be at sea two days before they could return it to us. I went to the gift shop hoping for a Liz-Taylor style muumuu. No such luck. It was an Italian cruise line and apparently they didn't cater to big women except to serve pasta at every meal. Nothing in the gift shop was big enough to fit me without splitting a little under the arms and around my butt. So flattering. I was so embarrassed I stayed in the cabin the whole time until we got to Puerto Rico.

Pink you are going to do great !! Yes, remember your cruise, remember your goals. Those little things sitting on all the fancy plates can't talk to you and pull you off, they have no power, no voice, no nothing. You have to decide to eat them or to not, and you have the strength to make all the right choices for yourself -- everytime !

Cheers,

Woo hoo!

What a fantastic one month total! WOW! I'm so excited for you! Yup, think about you in cute cruise-wear and those holiday things won't have any appeal to you!

Remember Nova's signature line..."Do you want to eat what you want or wear what you want?"

I'm thrilled for you!

I think she should just chuck the booty shorts and wear a thong bikini!
