Sounds like your DH is another sabotager if he tells you at the beginning of a plan it won't work. Well, we will do our best to support you and prove him and all those other naysayers wrong.

I'm one of those people who must believe everyone around me is intensely interested in what I'm doing - ask and I'll tell (not about everything  ) Almost all the folks I hang with know I'm on MF and I am very lucky - they are supportive. There's teasing but it's not the kind that is detrimental.

When I start working (when I find that dream job :-P ) I'll not try to hide my MF, but since it will be part time work, I should be able to juggle my schedule so it never comes up - except for the compliments

Whenever you need an uplifting word, drop in. There's always someone with a kind word waiting to be shared. :D

That is great. I have one diet soda a day as a treat. I DO crave water. I make my daily walks to Starbucks and sometimes just buy water!

It sounds like you are doing great! It does seem to get easier to drink the water and follow the program as you follow it -- as you are already seeing with the water. I love diet Pepsi, too, but haven't had any since beginning the program.....guess I mainly drank it when I was washing down a drive through burger & fries. :?

Missy~ I'm so sorry to hear the devastating struggles your family has been through. I can't even imagine.

I have found that every time I am tempted to "cheat" and overcome that temptation.....it makes me a little bit stronger. I never dreamed I could stay on program for the 12 weeks that I have without cheating (except for a recent peanut problem) :( I really believe it is getting easier and easier to stay on plan and finish this to goal and beyond.

I don't think my husband had much faith in me when I started this in January because I have started and restarted and started something new a million times it seems. However, he sees my resolve and is seeing changes in me. Now, he really believes in me, too. Stay compliant and your DH will see that what you are doing is for REAL!!!!!

wooo hooo... !! Way to go, Missy !! I completely understand that temptation and those circumstances, and you did *so well.* And, like Jo has said in her posts around the forum, each time you resist, you get stronger on your way. It's about not giving in to impulse, and you did great :).

Cheers,
Karli
