Well I've been missing from the forum
... but will be returning to catch up soon. 
I've spent the last week or so sitting in my Dad's dusty attic. 
I think most of you know my Dad died at age 100 at the end of April.
He had lived in the same house since 1918 and I think he, his family members and my mom packed everything except the kitchen garbage in the attic.
It is about 50' long and 15' wide and packed!! I couldn't even move around. Plus it is dusty!!! I'm finding some neat stuff but I must admit that it is getting really really old sitting up there and sorting everyday. My daugher will be taking my Dad's house and she has a remodeling crew coming in on Wednesday. Sooooo I'm packing and sorting and hauling. 
I can hardly wait to catch up with everyone. Hmmmm it's pretty hot up there and of course I'm providing the steam... don't you think people part with some pounds in a sauna???.... I'll see.
