My stalker was arrested last month, after stalking me on line for almost ayear. He's now out on probation. He traveled across the country and was found in the bushes behind my house, with a knife in his boot. It's not silly.

S'okay. No worries. He had nothing to do with MF. I used the same username on many boards and he found me somewhere then Googled my name, found my address and MUCH more. It was terrifying.

You weren't a member when I was active. Nice to meet you. I've lost about 50 pounds so far and made many friends here. I love MF and have missed the boards a lot.

Sorry you had a problem. That is why I dont go on chat rooms or any forums. This is the only forum I have seen that is full of real people and no bs. Unc does a good job deleting garbage posts and things like that. If that type of thing happens the authorities should be able to get IP info from the forum people or your ISP I would think. Anyway welcome back to the MF family :bighug:

I know I saw my old self there and was touched.

For those of you that have asked here's how it worked. Stalker noticed me on a board elsewhere. Googled my username and got a list of all the boards I frequented (3 or 4 in total) Using bits and pieces from each board he was able to find my name, location, telephone number and place of employment and that was enough. I'm also a member of a profession that lists it's members in a national directory. (Veterinarian) Knowing my profession and the state in which I lived helped him find me even faster. I will never post my location, name, or other too personal info again.
